  • Scandal Parfum Cologne is a hybrid of fougère, citrus, and aromatic. It uses typical fougère notes (moss, lavender, coumarin, patchouli) along with herbs and citrus. It’s quite linear, changing only in the first 5 minutes before smelling the same. That opening has herbs with a minty touch, but citrus and the stars—oak moss and lavender—are apparent from the start. The citrus adds freshness, while the herbs give the lavender a green nuance. After the opening, the herbs fade, leaving lavender and moss with a citrus base. I see it as masculine, ideal for summer climates and more for day than night. Ingredient quality is good. I’ve read it smells cheap and synthetic, but it doesn’t smell that way to me. The problem is that while the quality is high, it doesn’t reach the level of other creations from the house, and the performance is poor. It lasts 3 hours on skin with normal application; over-applying helps a bit, but the price remains excessive. It fades noticeably in the first hour, drops in the second and third, and almost disappears by the third. Maybe it lasts longer on other skin, but on mine, it’s short. I liked the scent; it’s classic but modernized, doesn’t smell like an old perfume, it’s elegant and easy to use. I recommend testing before buying blindly due to the price and poor performance.

  • Undoubtedly, Roja fragrances smell classy and refined; you can tell they use very high-quality ingredients (hence the price). I smelled it via decant and loved it, but in my opinion, it’s for very mature people, 40 and up; it smells like a grandfather, but that’s not bad—it’s versatile, cozy, and has good longevity. The decant saved me from spending too much, though as a gift for your dad or grandpa, it would be exceptional. 8/10.

I’m saying this DOESN’T smell bad. But you can find it easily in a $30 cologne. It adds nothing new, it’s a barbershop scent with weird notes. On my skin it smells generic (not mine xD). With so few reviews here, I checked Fragrantica and they point out the same thing. It’s my 4th out of 5 in the Parfum Colognes ranking. I don’t recommend it. You’ll find the same thing in Drakkar Noir, Brut, or Eau Sauvage at a vastly lower price.

Let me start by saying this doesn’t smell bad. But you can find this scent easily in a $30 cologne. It adds nothing new; it’s just a barbershop scent with some weird notes. On my skin, it develops a body odor vibe (not my actual body odor xD). Given the low number of reviews here, I checked Fragrantica and found similar opinions. It’s my 4th out of 5 in the Parfum Cologne ranking. I don’t recommend it. You’ll find the same thing in Drakkar Noir, Brut, and even Eau Sauvage at a fraction of the price.

  • Modern fougere of top quality, smells like fresh lavender in the base with grapefruit and moss that make it incredibly rich. Pure masculinity in a bottle, this will never go out of style and you’ll smell like a president.

  • A modern fougère with ultra-high-quality notes, one of Roja’s best. It smells like soapy lavender in the base and grapefruit pushing through with moss, making it incredibly rich. Masculinity in a bottle; this will never go out of style, and you’ll smell like a government president.

Beautiful and elegant perfume. The first time I applied it to my arm, it reminded me of Torino 21 by Xerjoff and also evoked memories of Loewe Pour Homme. Green and citrus opening, a vibrant mix of lavender and mint, feeling fresh and refined—very classic fougère. After 20 minutes, notes of basil, jasmine, a spicy clove touch, and subtle oak moss emerge, adding depth without losing softness. In the dry down, sweetness takes over from sandalwood, tonka bean, and cardamom, leaving a warm, enveloping trail. A familiar yet rich and sophisticated aroma that sets it apart. Innate elegance, worthy of being your signature scent. Excellent longevity on skin, 8 hours, notable projection at first, then more intimate. Versatile and timeless, suitable for almost any occasion and all year round except the coldest days. I love it in big letters; it’s number two in my collection, just behind Braken by Amouage. Ideal for men over 28 who know how to wear it with dignity. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10.

Beautiful and elegant. Upon application, it transported me to Xerjoff Torino 21 and Loewe Pour Homme. Green and citrus opening with lavender and mint, super fresh. At 20 minutes, basil, jasmine, clove, and oak moss emerge, gaining depth. Sweet finish with sandalwood, tonka bean, and cardamom, warm and enveloping trail. Familiar yet sophisticated, worthy of being your signature scent for life. Lasts 8 hours, notable projection at the start then intimate. Versatile, all year round except cold. My second choice, only behind Braken by Amouage. For those over 28 who know how to wear it with dignity. Scent: 10/10 Trail: 8.5/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10

  • Notable fragrance, I like the profile, but it fails on value. It’s a masculine, high-quality fougère, very refreshing at first with citrus and mint notes that are quite prominent. Lavender, moss, spices, and woods form the core. You can tell there are higher-quality nuances and more rounded accords within this league. However, in my opinion, it doesn’t justify the extra price or sustain such moderate performance. We’re talking about a very high price. Masculine, versatile, suitable for all seasons. Too bad the cons weigh so heavily.

  • Scandal Parfum Cologne is a modern fougère. The trick is that you have to like this type of fragrance. The scent isn’t new, but it smells great and feels high-quality. Even though it’s a fougère, it’s not just for older men; guys over 20 can wear it. On my skin, it lasts about 2 hours with decent projection, then clings to the skin for another 4–5 hours. The downside is it should last longer and the price is steep. But if you find it on sale, it’s worth it compared to other designer perfumes. I think $130–$150 is a good price; the quality justifies it.

  • Scandal Parfum Cologne is a modern fougere; the key is that you like this type. The scent isn’t new but feels very good and high quality. Not just for older folks, a 20+ can pull it off well. On my skin it lasts a bit, about 2 hours with acceptable projection, then skin-scent for another 4-5 hours. The downside is it should last longer and the price. But if there’s a discount, it’s worth more than designer perfumes at $130-150, the quality justifies it.

I live on the Mexico border, so I can shop in the USA. I grabbed Scandal Parfum Cologne for $133—what a steal! Don’t pay over $200; it’s not worth it. The quality is good, but since it’s a Parfum Cologne, it doesn’t last very long.
