To me, this is M’s summer: fruity and light, with peony and tiare taking over halfway through, bringing a sweetness that lasts almost until the end. I’ve read complaints about longevity in English reviews, but on my skin it lasted 6 hours and still going, though the projection fades. It convinced me, and I want to keep it.

It’s super youthful, almost ‘kid-like’. Sweet without being cloying: it opens with apple and a ‘bubbly’ touch (could it be the Bellini?), then synthetic florals without any standout notes, and that’s about it. It leaves a trail of fruity caramel. It has no projection and doesn’t last long (less than 4 hours). It’s not intense or seductive; it’s simple and cheerful, like the innocence of teenagers who don’t need much makeup to be pretty. The bottle is gorgeous, iridescent with a pink butterfly cap, perfect for a Barbie-style teen prom vanity. Obviously, it’s for daytime and casual occasions. Even though I’m older now and prefer more intense perfumes, I couldn’t resist because it connects with my ‘inner child’. I use it sparingly, some weekends or at home (I think only 3 times). I considered gifting it to a quinceañera so she could enjoy it more (I had a 15th birthday party coming up), almost wrapped it up, and then I said: ‘screw it!’ I’m not letting it go. It’s my occasional ‘guilty pleasure’ that brings back memories of my happy, carefree adolescence, when my only responsibility was studying and not carrying the weight of adulthood.

It’s super delicious, even better than the original M. I adore its iridescent bottle with that pink butterfly on the cap. It’s not one of those that makes you stand out, but it’s so rich and feminine. I love it.
