Ryo Vivo by Natura is an aquatic floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2024, this creation was designed by Verônica Kato and Yves Cassar. Its opening unfolds with top notes of orange, grapefruit, priprioca, and pataqueira. The heart reveals a cascade of headspace, orange blossom, jasmine, rose, and tuberose. To finish, the base offers a balsamic dry-down with copaiba balsam, cedar, and breu-branco.

The perfume’s name already tells us it’s for men, ‘Ryo Vivo,’ and if it’s for men like ‘Humor: Paz y Humor’ or ‘Le Male’ by JPG (saving obvious quality differences). It reminded me of the perfume from the same era as the launch of ‘Paz y Humor,’ which is ‘Homem Especiarias.’ I don’t see any woman wearing this perfume because it’s masculine, but women will likely enjoy the scent, especially in spring. If a woman likes it, I’d recommend more the freshness of Pataqueira or Pitanga Preta, which are more feminine and will catch a man’s attention when he smells them. But tastes vary, so it’s up to each person. Cheers.
The name says it all: ‘Ryo Vivo’ is for men, just like ‘Humor: Peace and Humor’ or the ‘Homem Especiarias’ from JPG (obviously, the quality is a different story). It reminded me of perfumes from that era. I haven’t seen any women wearing it since it’s marketed as masculine, but I’m sure women would like it, especially in spring. If a woman likes it, she’d probably prefer the freshness of Pataqueira or Pitanga Preta—they’re more feminine and will catch a man’s attention. Everyone has their own tastes. Cheers!
Delicious fragrance! Fresh, cheerful, clean… I’d say it’s feminine to unisex. I recommend it!
I bought all three and’m posting the review for RYO FESTA here because it’s not on this site. It’s a herbal fragrance, smelling of grass and then earth; it’s not bad, but it’s very much in the line of Humor a Dois and Sr. N, so it doesn’t bring anything new. Its performance isn’t good; you’d have to test it in the heat since it’s fresh right now in Argentina; don’t expect an Ecos Alma, it doesn’t project, and the longevity on my skin and my wife’s was okay for about 2 hours, 4 if you search for it with a magnifying glass. It seems more like a Ecos freshness than a real perfume, but its value is almost 59,000 pesos. I disagree that it’s masculine; there are no notes or aromas a woman couldn’t wear if she likes Ryo Vivo: also very soft, low projection, and weak longevity. It’s a pleasant and fresh perfume, but in my case, I feel a note I can’t stand; it reminds me of mothballs, a drawer, or a great-grandmother’s closet; luckily, it fades away along with the perfume. My wife, however, liked it, so it’s just personal to me, but don’t buy it without trying it. For me, it’s a feminine perfume, at most a feminine unisex. At the selling price of these perfumes (59,000 pesos), I don’t recommend them at all, no matter how much sellers hype them up. I’ve always been a Natura fan for years, but the latest launches have disappointed me, and prices have skyrocketed in Argentina, matching Arab brands; even worse, they removed discounts from good lines like Homem and Essencial, which is a grave mistake.
What a rich fragrance! Fresh, cheerful, and clean with a feminine touch that works perfectly for unisex wear. Totally recommended!
This is my favorite from the entire collection. I perceive it as floral and aquatic, not layered but linear: it opens with fresh flowers and settles into cedar. It’s simple, clean, and features a subtle floral note that becomes slightly sweet. The aesthetic is beautiful and organic. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something complex or empowering; it’s a very delicate EDT. I find it pricey and prefer other Natura lines.

What is this?! Not in a bad way, but it reminds me a lot of Bvlgari’s Rose Goldea Blossom Delight (confirm if this is true or just my imagination). The opening is a bit more herbal, but it feels citrusy and the rose appears and disappears. Since I knew the Rose Goldea and was looking for a dupe, I think it’s quite similar, but it has very low projection and weak longevity. I like that the jasmine doesn’t feel too strong because I hate it; I think it’s well-balanced. I give it a 7/10.

Smells like a beautiful rose on my skin, nothing new. In fact, it reminds me of some Kaiak scents and also the pink EDP Narciso Rodriguez, only this one with citrus. Now I agree that Natura has better ones, much better. And I’ll take the chance to say that Chuva is a lovely green citrus, like the green in some Chanel perfumes such as 19 or Cristal, but I can’t remember which. Still, whenever I come across creations like these, it happens to me the same way it does when I watch a movie with great actors, photography, etc., and sadly the movie is very bad. When they throw money at making a bad movie… well, that’s exactly what happened with these Natura novelties, blaa 😔
Delicious… it’s heading down the path of Loewe Solo Atlas.
Natura just isn’t my style; I feel like they repeat themselves too much, and the longevity and projection are terrible. The fact that it dries down so cleanly kills my desire to wear it. Ryo Vivo starts citrusy with a rich sweetness, then moves to an aquatic floral that pairs well, but it dries down to a soapy scent that drives me crazy. I’m annoyed because I thought it would be great for heat or for sleeping in, but I can’t stand the soapy smell. At first, I thought it was masculine, but it’s totally unisex.
Natura isn’t really my style; I feel there are too many similar scents, and the poor longevity and projection kill my enthusiasm for them. The insistence on clean, soapy dry-downs just doesn’t excite me. Ryo Vivo starts with a citrus opening and a subtle, rich sweetness, then moves into an aquatic floral that pairs well, drying down clean like I just used a scented soap. I’m annoyed it ends up like that because I thought it looked great for hot weather, post-shower, or bedtime, but I just can’t stand the soap scent. At first, I thought it was masculine, but it’s totally unisex.
A versatile fragrance for any weather or occasion—relaxed yet clean and serious. It’s unisex, though the rose note gives it a feminine touch. Performance is good on my wife’s skin, but on me it was ‘meh,’ disappearing in two hours. Worth it for the price: it’s a Swiss Army knife for men and women, adding floral/rose nuances for women and woody/balsamic ones for men, who I recommend reapplying every two or three hours (7/10).
A different kind of fresh! Subtle and soft, a relief on hot days. Even though it’s fresh, I wouldn’t buy it blindly. I smell lime, I suppose the citrus blend takes me there, along with a lychee floating in the air.
So fresh and different! Subtle and soft, a real relief on hot days. I wouldn’t buy it blindly, but I smell lime and think the citrus blend evokes that fruit, with a hint of lychee in the air.
