There are two versions: one with a wooden box and brick-red bottle, the other with a standard box and smoky gray bottle. I mixed the 30ml of the first generation with my gray bottle and couldn’t tell any difference. RSVP opens with a spiced-woody and herbal vibe, with citrus edges where an acidic pepper blends with orchid, giving a floral twist to a sweet grapefruit. It has a semi-adult, refined, executive character thanks to vetiver and cashmere; that’s where its classic feel comes from, opening up a wide range of uses. It works anytime and for any event with a unique masculine style, very popular in the early 2000s. Performance is excellent, with medium-to-high projection depending on how you apply it. Ideal for cold and summer (just moderate the amount). It was a huge hit in North America and a great contribution to the world of men’s fragrances. Plus, it’s affordable and still available in Mexico. Don’t miss it if you like classic woods and a masculine focus.

A LOST MASTERPIECE That’s exactly how I describe it: a fragrance lost in the history of perfumery. I’ve had it since 2007, my tester version I used in my teenage years without giving it a second thought, but at 27, I finally see the true work of art it is. At first, a blast of high-quality woods and flowers with supreme elegance; the orchid note hits fast, mixed with woods and powdery touches of violet and musk that add class. Then comes the lavender and grapefruit combo, dry yet clean, alongside a commanding cashmere. Longevity is good: after wearing it for 14 years, I get 7 to 8 hours with about 2 hours of projection. The only downside is that it’s discontinued and hard to find; there’s a gray bottle version, but it’s not the same. Undoubtedly, a terrible mistake to discontinue something of this quality.

Probably the best contemporary men’s cologne on the market. Why? Because its original presentation, Salvaje, hints at the juice inside. There are no pretenses here, just virility, manhood, and seduction. I won’t describe the ingredients, but what it tells you: to gentlemen who haven’t tried it, take a risk. To ladies who want to know the scent of a charming seducer, take note: if you’re not with your man, don’t let him wear it without you. It’s definitely a cologne that attracts, seduces, and wins you over. The only complaint is that it’s not very long-lasting, but that quality speaks to the character of the type of man it’s made for.

Once the perfume settles on the skin, the scent is a vetiver blended with a very soft, woody citrus. It’s a very masculine fragrance, and although it fades to skin scent quickly, I still consider it excellent.
