Our relationship was love-hate; at first I thought I’d wasted my money, but remembering my tendency to judge too quickly, I decided to wear it in different moments and weather. The opening is loud—a aged, medicinal rose that isn’t pleasant, but it evolves dramatically: after 15 minutes the rose softens, jasmine rises (which is potent on my skin), and hard-to-define leather notes emerge, similar to those in V’s Cicuta, which many recognize. By the half-hour mark, it transforms into a rose wrapped in vanilla, creamy and rejuvenated. The scent is gorgeous and addictive. If you buy it, give it a chance: the longevity is acceptable, and the best aroma lasts for several hours.
