  1. I’ve worn this for 15 years; it’s my signature scent with peach and white flowers. They never reformulated it, it was my constant companion, a true love. I haven’t found anything else that matches its longevity and sillage. If it were a person, I’d give it a hug and never let go. Thanks, Narcisse 🌷 10/10

  2. I found it in Peru! After 30 years, I finally managed to find and buy it. I love it!

Without a doubt, the best perfume I’ve ever tried. Everyone stopped me to ask what I was wearing. It’s such a shame they don’t make it anymore. Does anyone know of a similar one?

  4. The most exquisite perfume that ever existed. There are very few left; I saw one in Caba, but the price was too high. Maybe next month if it’s still available. I remember the first day: a customer walked in leaving an incredible trail, my coworker and I turned around wondering what she was wearing. As soon as I finished work, I went to buy it and wore it for years until it disappeared. I love it! Nothing compares.

Hi, where can I find this in Chile? I’ve been searching and it always comes up out of stock, but I love it and want to buy it.

1000% in love with this amazing perfume. I first smelled it when I was 12 or 13, instant love, but I didn’t have the money. Now at 42, even though it’s discontinued, I finally managed to get a bottle and it smells exactly the same: sweet floral, incredibly sweet. Extraordinary aroma. It lasts for months on clothes and more than 24 hours on skin, even after showering. What more can I say? ❤️

My perfume from adolescence and youth, one of my all-time favorites. Sweet with spectacular longevity. After searching for a long time, I finally got it; I bought it at a very high price because it was discontinued, but it’s worth every peso. I love Narcisse 😍

I love this perfume! Everyone asked me what fragrance I was wearing. Great sillage and super feminine longevity. It’s a pity I can’t find it in Argentina, I think it’s been discontinued. I still haven’t found another that resembles it.

For me, this is a fragrance they no longer make. The longevity, sillage, and projection are enviable. It’s a classic that deserves to be known and owned. I’m going to buy it soon because I really like it.

  10. A perfume I just remembered 🥰. It smells of narcissus, gardenias, and cedar, a bitter yet attractive scent with great longevity and delicious sillage. It makes you feel like you smell rich and elegant; when you put it on, you feel like a well-established woman, regardless of age, direct and with attractive intelligence 👌🏻😃. I imagine empowered women 🧥👠💄 wearing this. I’m going to look for it, I want it back 🥰🙏🏻😁

  11. Thanks, Eduardo2! Will it still be available at El Chuy? I don’t think so; years have passed… I still miss it dearly; it’s a wonderful fragrance.

I’ve had the bottle almost empty for 20 years and it’s still perfect. It’s floral and very persistent. A micro drop is more than enough. It’s the center of attention, very striking and scandalous, like a good narcissus is.

I’ve had the bottle almost full for 20 years and it’s still perfect. It’s floral and very long-lasting. A tiny drop is enough. Of course, it draws all the attention; it’s very striking and bold, just like a good narcissus should be.

I first smelled it thanks to a boss; every time she wore it, she left a huge trail and the whole office smelled like Narcisse. What a beautiful and special perfume. It’s very strong, balsamic, with an overwhelming personality… very feminine. I think the power comes from the narcissus, cinnamon, and vanilla. It’s such a pleasant scent that for me it’s addictive: elegant, warm, a vintage worth knowing, owning, and wearing with your head held high and walking with purpose.

The first time I smelled it, I was blown away. I bought it for my wife in every presentation—cream and body lotion; every time the bottle ran out, I bought another, and even my daughter liked using it. It has a 5-meter trail and is long-lasting. What a shame they no longer make it.

A totally vintage fragrance, with the hallmark of perfumes from the past. I’ve really liked it: it’s strong, potent, and unique. Very much a 90s perfume, where no two were alike. I like it quite a bit; it’s great for cold weather.

  17. Atalcadita

I bought it blindly online after reading reviews, and unfortunately, I didn’t like it. At first, I only smelled the carnation, slightly sweet-and-sour, which I think is the chrysanthemum, like mixing carnations with Chinese sweet-and-sour sauce. When it dries, you get a hint of powdery narcissus, but not the baby powder kind; it’s a dirty, dark smell. The whole fragrance gives me melancholy and sadness. I don’t know how I’ll use this bottle; I guess it only works if you’re dressed in black and for women over 40. If you like carnations, you might enjoy it. Thank God it’s mild; it’s not sharp carnation and narcissus, but a more bearable talcum-like scent. It has nothing to do with other Chloe talcum perfumes; this is a different world. If I had smelled it in the store, I wouldn’t have bought it.

  18. Espartaco

Marvelous, a sweet cornucopia where the almost fecal tone of the narcissus and the fruit fight to be the star; the fruit is pure pulp, jelly, jam. A bookish oriental in the 90s style, very cloying but not sticky. To my taste, it’s perfectly assembled: three tones persist, talking at once and stepping on each other’s toes—the dirty narcissus, the honeyed and phosphorescent peach and apricot, and the resinous and oriental tolu balsam and sandalwood. Guiding them all is a hilarious, youthful, and dynamic spiced carnation, and finally, musk, woods, and rose to make it talcum-like, not serene. This is devilishly good, like wearing it on you and yet a bit of Caron or Piguet narcissus, a touch of Grosjman, a pinch of Opium and co., and finally a sour, aged, spicy, mysterious oriental talcum at 200 miles per hour. If I walk down the street and smell a woman radiating this precious air in 2019, I’d fall on my butt. You can’t smell things like this anymore. It’s so exuberant that if you wear it with colorful clothes, it becomes a caricature; you drown it. However, defend it with a black silk blouse or a leather jacket; that’s all it takes to sublime it from sobriety and leave people knocked out. This perfume needs no more adornments because in itself it’s pure gluttony, a sin of greed made into a scent that ends drying into a moist, sweet, putrid ointment that even a mummy would envy for its own perfume; a distant relative to Narcisse de Feminité du Bois.

  20. But what an exquisite perfume! Something weird happened to me with this fragrance. When it launched, I was very young, and I vaguely remember smelling it among many others and thinking it was just another one… and according to my sense of smell at the time, lacking what Poison or Amarige had. After several years, I dreamed I was at the perfume store and fell in love with this fragrance; I remember the dream with the box and everything. Still, I decided on many others until it ran out or was discontinued in my area, and it caught my attention again when I saw some reviews. I ordered it online, and it took a month to arrive; just a couple of hours ago, I finally opened it, and on first contact, I fell in love. It’s a sweet and creamy scent, but not gourmand, watch out. It’s floral sweetness, exquisite. As I feel right now, the scent remains intact and perfect. I love it.

  21. The first impression is that it’s very strong, but then that intense aroma fades, leaving finally a very powdery scent. I didn’t like it. It has poor longevity. After reading other comments, I understand it depends on each person’s skin chemistry.

I gifted it to my mom right in 1992, the year of its launch, for Mother’s Day (in Spain, it’s celebrated on the first Sunday of May). I remember going to Perfumería Prieto at Nuevo Centro mall, just after lunch on that Friday. The gentleman who attended me quickly pulled out several perfumes for me to choose from. With the speed of a gazelle, my nose outstandingly detected this perfume. It seemed to me the scent of a woman who was both brave and sweet, elegant, with a very defined personality, feminine, and very far from the average of the women’s fragrances displayed in the store windows in 1992; for me, it was different and novel in every aspect. The best part is that my mom loved it and it suited her perfectly when she wore it; in fact, my sisters would reach for it whenever they had the chance. What does it smell like? Well, for me, it’s a beautiful predominant narcissus over other flowers, not without a subtle green breeze that envelops the bouquet, giving it a sublime touch. I’d be happy if it weren’t discontinued.

The narcissus intensity is brutal, packed with complexity and nuance. While the musk-decorated narcissus takes center stage, the fragrance goes way beyond that—it’s a Dali-style masterpiece: gorgeous yet irreverent and a bit misunderstood. It smells of musk-decorated narcissus, roses, and soft carnations, sweet apricots, candied pineapple, succulent vanilla, pink pepper, and precious woods. It’s a bomb that keeps you on your toes; you never know which note will explode next. Its beauty lies in the complexity, the nuances, the irreverence, and the power; Narcisse is one of a kind, just like you.

  24. Narcisse was a game-changer, and countless fragrances have tried to replicate it. It’s a prime example of the apricot-floral trend with resinous and spicy undertones that was huge in the early 90s. Brands like Paloma Picasso, Lancôme’s Tresor, Nicole Miller, and later L’Artisan (Sun Moon Stars) followed this structure, though they leaned more toward water lily with a prominent pineapple note and a sweet-and-sour bergamot contrast. Narcisse is all flowers, spices, and fruits, perfectly orchestrated: the flowers and fruits shine at the top, while spices and balms dominate the dry-down. It’s rich from every angle, balancing flowers and fruits without either overpowering the other, something Chloe simply doesn’t achieve. The longevity exceeds 12 hours on skin with a noticeable trail. Even after its reformulation by Coty, it remains spectacular, which is hard to believe given how they degraded other classics, but they left this one untouched. Hours later, it releases a subtle resinous and spicy amber base that elevates the floral and fruity notes in a sublime way. If you love bold, full-bodied, sweet florals with personality, you have no choice but to get this fragrance. Its composition is versatile; although it’s a 90s floral, it could easily have been released in the 00s.

I first encountered this perfume in 2001; I was 16. I smelled it on a young woman who walked into the store where I worked, and I absolutely loved it. Naturally, I asked her about it. For many years, it stayed in my thoughts, but for one reason or another, I never bought it. Last winter, I finally caved in, and I have no regrets; it’s exactly what I remembered. It’s so intense, creamy, and warm, ideal for cold climates. It has an immense trail, and the scent lasts until the next day without issue. I once tried wearing it in warmer weather, and NO, it only works in cold climates.

I can’t find this in Argentina; is it available anywhere? It’s an intense, intoxicating scent I bought in 1995 and finally used up in 2012 (luckily, I have plenty of others). I mention this because the fragrance was flawless—it stayed completely unchanged for all those years. Whenever I wore it, people noticed it everywhere and around different folks. I really value feedback from others because I consider it a key indicator of whether a scent suits me.

Narcissus, with their weird and distinctive perfume so unmistakable… Here, Chloé delivers a bomb of narcissus that overwhelms you at first, but after about 15 minutes, it settles down thanks to the blend of a creamy gardenia, perhaps enhanced by the vanilla and the sweetness of the musk, which transforms that boldness of the narcissus into something more delicate and cozy, like it came straight out of a marshmallow. Every time I smell the back of my hand when I wear it, I’m reminded of a cake decorated with heavily vanilla-scented whipped cream, its swirls and rosettes filled with narcissus flowers surrounding a single, highly fragrant and creamy central gardenia… Definitely for very cold days, since it can be extremely cloying. Still, it’s a perfume I absolutely love, especially since I’m a huge fan of sweet and sugary scents.
