  Maison Alhambra’s Roman Leather is ideal if you don’t know Memo Paris’s Italian Leather; here tobacco takes the lead while leather stays in the background, creating a chocolatey, warm, and gourmand touch very suggestive for cold, rainy, or nighttime days. It pairs perfectly with a leather jacket, a whiskey, and a good Cuban cigar: it’s refined and classy. It’s not a trend, but a classic contemporary cut, an adult fragrance that denotes character. Performance is good: I applied 10 sprays on skin and 10 on clothes and it lasted the whole dinner. It’s not spectacular or showy, but it stands out with what it does. For the price, it’s a total winner. Scent: 9.0. Projection: fair to good. Longevity: 7 hours. Recommended.

  It’s not listed in the notes, but it smells like tomato leaf to death, just like the Italian Leather it tries to copy. I only detect tomato and leather. The tomato note just doesn’t work for me; the same thing happened with Shurah, it turned gross after a while.
