It’s complicated to review this because, to be honest, I don’t feel it like a perfume. I arrived with a sample alongside three others (Chameleon by Zoologist, Iri_del by Nomenclatura…), and while I noticed the others wildly on the skin, this… nothing. It was completely overshadowed, as if I hadn’t applied anything. I tested it on blotter paper and it was soft, so I decided to shower and wear it alone to see what would happen. In the end, with clean skin, it does show up: it smells good, but very low-key. It’s a creamy scent, a soft floral with green notes and an almost imperceptible vanilla base. It could be any high-end moisturizing cream. The longevity isn’t bad; I went out after showering and could still smell it clinging to my skin after 5 hours, but no one could smell it from afar (with social distancing, it’s a real test, haha). At home, by 6-7 hours I smelled very little, and by 8-9 hours, nothing. On the blotter it’s still there, but so soft it blends with the paper’s scent. Longevity is average, but projection is weak. What surprises me most is how unoriginal it is. I ordered the sample because seeing the bottle, knowing it’s from a small house, that the perfumer is Luca Maffei, and that it’s called Punk Motel, I expected something groundbreaking, intense, different… something punk. But this isn’t punk, not even pop. It smells good, but it’s quite generic and very soft. It’s not a man’s perfume and could be an option for someone seeking something subtle for daily wear, but I wouldn’t buy the bottle. Even though it says Eau de Parfum, the effect is that of a body mist or cream. Scent: 8, Longevity: 7, Projection: 5, Value: 4, Versatility: 9.5, Originality: 6, Overall: 7.5

On the blotter it’s still there, but mixed with the paper’s scent. The projection is weak. What surprised me most is how unoriginal it is: I expected something punk, groundbreaking, and intense given the name and perfumer, but it smells generic and soft. It could be a subtle option for daily wear, but I wouldn’t buy a bottle; with Eau de Parfum, the effect is more like a body mist.
