I did try it and it seems weak to me. It projects very little and has too much white musk, which Kurkdjian tends to overuse. It’s a clean scent that’s too faint and undefined. Obviously, it doesn’t smell bad. I also tried Aqua Universalis by the same author and found it quite poor for its price. They say the best citrus is Xerjoff Nio, which I haven’t tried. In my opinion, these by Kurkdjian are lightyears below those by Atelier Cologne or even the classics by A. Goutal.

  • I tried it, and it’s weak: it projects little and has an excessive amount of white musk, that typical Kurkdjian overuse. It’s a clean smell but too faint and undefined. It doesn’t smell bad, of course. I also tried Aqua Universalis from the same line and found it poor for its price. They say Xerjoff Nio is the best citrus, though I haven’t tried it. In my opinion, these from Kurkdjian are lightyears away from Atelier Cologne or the classics from A. Goutal.

  • This perfume is a flash of white, fresh, beautiful, magical light; it’s the scent I’d assign to the bellflower fairy dust in Hook. It’s a tinkling musical note that brings joy and personally makes me smile.

  • I’m not a fan of citrus, but this came in the discovery set. To be mainly citrus, it didn’t make me gag or bother me. Normally citrus bothers me, not due to allergy, but because personally I don’t want to smell like lemon, tangerine, orange, bergamot, or anything like that, but this didn’t disgust me. Nor did I love it. At first, it was the least favorite, but without rejection. As it evolved, I noticed a more floral and musky citrus. On my skin, the lavender wasn’t noticeable, and I would have liked it. In the end, during its final minutes, it had a supremely pleasant smell, a well-blended mix of citrus, floral, and musk. The trail is super poor… it leaves nothing. I sprayed it on my wrists, elbows, and neck, 7 sprays, and in 15 minutes I got to work and my coworker couldn’t smell anything. I could only perceive it intermittently during the first hour, like a gust. After two hours, it didn’t even reach me, only skin deep, I had to bring my nose close. Longevity isn’t bad; it faded by 7, and by 8 it was gone. For a luxury item, the longevity is just adequate, not spectacular. It’s not bad, it smells nice, and the fact that someone who hates citrus likes it is the best compliment, but I didn’t fall in love, it doesn’t seem original to me, and I won’t buy it.

This perfume has become my favorite citrus. This sweet and super natural lemon scent, with that touch of orange blossom and relaxing lavender… makes wearing it in the morning upon waking up improve your day. I’m really in love with Mr. Kurkdjian’s fragrances; he knows what to do with his nose and his collection is exquisite; I’m delighted. Petit Matin has a moderate but noticeable trail and lasts over 8 hours; I think it’s a magnificent job for a citrus.

I like it but I don’t love it. It reminds me too much of a childish eau de cologne, specifically Petit Cheri. It smells very soft, citrusy, and gives a cool sensation. It has sweet notes that show up occasionally. It’s comfortable and doesn’t bother anyone. Longevity is average, projecting softly for three or four hours before fading away in less than six. I don’t think I’ll buy the large version for now.

It works for me, but it doesn’t wow me. It smells a lot like a kids’ cologne, similar to Petit Cheri. It’s super soft, citrusy, and gives a fresh vibe. There are sweet notes that come through occasionally. It’s comfortable to wear and not annoying at all. Lasting power is average, about three to four hours of soft projection before fading away in under six. I don’t think I’ll buy the big bottle just yet.

  • It’s a multi-millionaire baby cologne: soft, citrusy, fresh, summery, clean, and slightly floral… nothing special at a gold price. NEXT!

  • This time I agree with other reviews. I’m wearing it today; I have a decant of the small Woman’s Olfactory Cabinet from the house. It’s a pleasant, citrusy, clean, soft scent—perfect for daily use in any season, especially summer daytime and lovely late afternoons, though it dilutes a bit in the cold winter. It brings back childhood memories of eau de cologne right after a bath. It’s a luminous and light aroma, like a feather. The trail is light too, then it turns slightly sweet and ambered. HOWEVER, compared to other Kurkdjian fragrances, I wouldn’t pay the price it has. If it were a gift, I’d use it regularly, but for the money, I’d invest in something else without a doubt. It’s not a special or unique scent. It reminds me of other lemony, soft, very wearable fragrances, but without a marked personality. It sounds like others like Dior’s ‘Escale à Portofino’ or even C. Herrera’s ‘212’ EDT. It has a longer trail than other budget options, but others smell similar and offer better value.

  • In this case, I agree with others. I wore it today; I have a decant from the house’s olfactory feminine wardrobe. Pleasant, citrusy, clean, soft, perfect for daily wear in any season, though it shines more in summer daytime and evenings than in winter, where it gets diluted by the cold. It brings back childhood memories, of eau de cologne after a bath. It’s luminous and light, like a feather. A fine trail that later turns sweet and ambered, BUT compared to other Kurkdjian scents, I wouldn’t pay the price. If it were a gift, I’d use it, but I’d invest that money in something else without hesitation. It’s not a special or unique scent. It reminds me of other soft lemonades, very comfortable but without a marked personality. Think of Dior’s ‘Escale à Portofino’ or C. Herrera’s ‘212’ EDT. More long-lasting than other budget options, but others smell similar and offer better value.

Citrus, floral, and musky cologne. High-quality lemon and orange blossom define its character; it dries down to a soapy scent. It’s a classic family fragrance taken up a few notches in aroma. Forget the dust of Kurkdjian’s 724, but it does have that dry soap musk at the end. I imagine the hawthorn flower gives it that white floral vibe with an almost imperceptible sweetness. Very pleasant, ideal for spring and summer, but it lacks the differentiating touch of a niche house. Not for elegant situations or status marking, unlike the 724 or Aqua Universalis Forte. I see it as perfect for men, women, or kids who want to smell clean and soapy, evoking the sun and peace of childhood, even if that aromatic excellence is the only justification for its price. For wallets that can afford it. Medium longevity, acceptable on clothes, regular projection. Scent: 8/10; Exclusivity: 2/10; Performance: 6/10; Versatility: 7/10; Price: 4/10
