It’s a very good men’s perfume, rich and similar to one I had but can’t remember which. The balanced citrus opening with sandalwood and woods, along with amber, achieves a very good result according to my nose. It lasted all morning, so I give it moderate longevity and sillage, but I tend to apply little. I recommend trying it.
It’s a hit for men—rich with that citrus note I love, balanced with sandalwood, woods, and amber. It lasted all morning, so I’d say medium longevity, but since I use a little, it’s worth it. Highly recommend trying it.
A very long-lasting and delicious fragrance with a masculine and elegant vibe. It lasts about 8 hours with very few sprays. Great product, I recommend it.
It’s a very good perfume, long-lasting, delicious, masculine, and elegant for me. It lasts about 8 hours with few applications. Very good, I recommend it.
The scent of Cobalt. A good perfume for those looking for something fresh with good longevity. It’s aromatic but soft, not weak. Nothing outstanding, and it might remind you of other perfumes at first, but it offers a good quality-price balance. 4/5.
I haven’t tried it on my skin yet, but I tested it on blotter paper at a perfumery and liked it. It felt soft and pleasant, exactly what I’m looking for for daily wear. The design is well-made and unique. If it has good fixation as people say here, it will be my next purchase. I’ll write back with the results.
I haven’t tried it on my skin yet, but I tested it on blotter paper at a perfumery. I liked it; it’s soft and pleasant, exactly what I’m looking for for daily wear. The design is well-made and different. If it has good longevity as they say, it will be my next purchase. I’ll write back with the real results.
I already have a 50 ml bottle. I like the design; it’s comfortable and modern, giving a sense of security. The fixation seems to be over 8 hours, although the projection is very low, almost skin-scent from the start, perhaps due to olfactory fatigue. The fragrance has received praise; even when women hug me hours later, they smell something, even if it’s just a skin scent. I was looking for something soft, not intrusive but noticeable, and I think I found it. Would I buy it again? I don’t think so. Disappointed? No, but not amazed either.
I just tried it today, but before that I tested almost fifteen fragrances and got nose fatigue, so I didn’t pay much attention. Now that I’m back, I have a different opinion… I LIKE IT A LOT! Besides the fact that the Perry Ellis collection lacks longevity and projection, I’ve recently fallen in love with spicy, aromatic, and woody scents. I find parallels with the delicious ‘Nuit d’Issey’ by Issey Miyake. It’s very current, versatile, pleasant, and quite ‘fresh’ (even though I know that word isn’t used in perfumery, you get what I mean). I really liked it, I’ll be buying it.
I changed my mind. I said I wouldn’t buy it again, but now I will. It fulfills its objective excellently: a ‘war’ perfume for daily use, work, and everyday life. It has a great scent, citrus accords with woods, beautiful design, and good fixation with moderate projection. Highly recommended.
I just tried it after saturating my nose with almost 15 fragrances, and now I have a different opinion: I LIKE IT A LOT. Aside from the usual issues with the Perry Ellis collection (low longevity and projection, common scents), I’ve fallen in love with this spicy/woody family. I find parallels with the delicious ‘Nuit d’Issey’ by Issey Miyake. It’s very current, versatile, pleasant, and rather ‘fresh’ (even though that word isn’t technically used in perfumery, the idea is clear). I loved it and will be buying it.
I like it; it has a quirk: all the ingredients come out like kids in the playground, making it hard to tell who passed by. The fig is noticeable only at the start, giving a fruity sweetness. The dry down isn’t the best; it leaves a synthetic, plastic trail. The finish is good, though almost imperceptible. In the opening, it smells like Versace Dylan Blue, and its performance is the same: very close to the skin. Scent 8, longevity 6, projection 5, price 10.
I like it, but there’s a curious detail: it seems like all the ingredients come out to play, making it hard to distinguish them. The fig is noticeable only at first, giving a sweet, fruity touch. The dry down doesn’t convince me much; it has a synthetic, plastic trail. The base is okay, though barely noticeable. It resembles Versace Dylan Blue in the opening and longevity, very skin-scented. Scent: 8, Longevity: 6, Projection: 5, Price: 10.
This Cobalt is basically the 90s blue Perry Ellis 360, but more refined with a much more perfect blend.
It doesn’t resemble Dylan Blue or BDC at all. It’s a ‘blue’ fragrance but with its own style, balancing fruity and spicy notes. It reminds me a lot of John Varvatos EDT: the fig here gives that tamarind sensation found in that one, and the sandalwood with woods, leather, and amber follows the same path. They aren’t clones; they’re more like smelling a lemon, a grapefruit, and a tangerine: distinct but in the same family. For me, they’re exclusive; if you have JVE, this is redundant, and vice versa. It’s great for daily wear, versatile, suitable for both informal and semi-formal occasions. Although it has citrus notes and is fresh, it’s not for summer sun due to that spicy rum touch. No single note dominates; everything comes out at once in a great balance. The fig isn’t as perceptible as in Guess Indigo; here, everything blends well. For price/performance, it’s a hit; it gives you a distinct scent that could be your signature if you like it. Moderate projection and longevity.
