Has anyone tried this?
If you want a quality Aventus clone, go for this. Great longevity, moderate projection.
I’ve never owned Creed Aventus, but I do own this Borouj Spiritus, and I can assure you it’s masculine, quite citrusy, and of very good quality. There are no synthetic smells here. I paid around $34 in Chile, so you won’t find anything better with such an intense aroma at that price. It fills any room, projects heavily, and the included atomizer is a beast. Many rate it better than Creed Aventus in terms of longevity and quality, though I must reiterate that I’ve never tried the original.
It can remind you of Creed Aventus, but from a floral perspective. It’s not a bad perfume; you can tell it’s high quality and nothing synthetic. To my taste, it smells very floral (dry white flowers that remind me of a mature person) and has no sweet touches. Longevity is quite good, reaching 8 hours. If you like this profile, it’s worth it for the price (I paid 70€). I recommend it for someone over 40 looking for a daily wear. In this line of Aventus inspirations, I’d go 100% with Loewe Esencia Eau de Parfum.
The first hour is bold and projects beautifully with a great scent. Lasts more than two hours on the skin. Herbal notes, unisex, fresh parsley, smoky eucalyptus wood, and muguet. Super natural aroma. Absolutely unisex and gorgeous.
I’ve been wearing these for months and can confirm: buy all Dumont fragrances without hesitation; they are true niche quality. Just a heads-up: you need to let them settle. Fresh ones like Spiritus and Modernity last only about two hours at first and fade quickly, but after a month, the magic happens. Now Spiritus lasts over 10 hours and lingers on the skin until 4 PM (and honestly, don’t use Modernity; it’s overwhelming). It’s a brutal dupe of Aventus without that acidic pineapple nobody likes, with a much more pleasant citrus opening. Then it dries down to white florals, woods, smoke, and moss, giving off a fresh forest dew vibe. Projection and longevity are excellent. I tried Lattafa’s Al Dana today and it’s almost identical. Well-named “Niche” (what more could you ask for at $30-$45?).
I’ve had these for several months and I can definitely say: buy all Dumont fragrances without fear; they are quality. The Borouj line is like niche, absolutely insane. Just a heads-up: you need to let them settle; fresh ones like Spiritus and Modernity last only about two hours at first and fade, but after a month the magic happens. Now Spiritus lives over 10 hours and lingers on the skin until 4 PM (and honestly, don’t use Modernity; it’s overwhelming). It’s a brutal dupe of Aventus without that acidic pineapple nobody likes, improving the citrus to make it pleasant. Then it dries down to white florals, woods, smoke, and moss that give you a forest dew sensation. Projection and longevity are excellent. I tried Lattafa’s Al Dana today and it’s almost identical. Well-named “Niche” (what more could you ask for at $30-$45?).
