I’ve only been to the Jo Malone store once, and after testing a bunch of scents, this is the only one I liked. It’s floral and fruity, and I’ve concluded that I like perfumes with suede; I don’t know what it really smells like, but the ones with it suit me well. Besides the soft scent of peonies and red apple, which are the only ones I could identify, I have to add that all the lines, including the Intense ones, have poor longevity.

I only visited the Jo Malone store once, and after trying a ton of fragrances, this is the only one that convinced me. It’s floral and fruity, and I’ve discovered that I love scents with suede; I don’t know exactly what it smells like, but anything with suede is a winner. Of the notes, I could only distinguish peonies and red apple. By the way, all the lines, even the Intense ones, have a very short longevity.

  • It’s my first Jo Malone fragrance that I was lucky enough to win in a raffle. From the presentation and packaging, I felt I’d find something delicate, subtle, and elegant, and I wasn’t wrong. Its opening notes are a bit strong; I got confused or thought I only smelled a spicy jasmine, but oh! surprise, that note disappears in seconds and gives way to a juicy red apple. After about 10 minutes, it mutates again, and the scent of peonies (yes, I start detecting a bouquet of different peonies, of different colors) makes a luxurious appearance to intertwine with the rest of the notes and create a perfect balance. It has a discreet but constant sillage; you receive waves of this beautiful composition second by second, very sophisticated, elegant, and ideal for summer.

This is my sixth Jo Malone fragrance, the first floral. The previous ones were citrusy and herbal, but this one and the new Star Magnolia are fabulous: fresh, feminine, and subtle floral scents that don’t go unnoticed. People always ask how good I smell with them. Note: all Jo Malone scents mix well with each other; I mix either of these two with Pomegranate Noir to get something more intense and different when I want to boost these florals.

This is my 6th Jo Malone fragrance… but the first floral. The others have been more citrusy and herbal, but this one and the newest Star Magnolia are fabulous!! Fresh, feminine, and subtle florals, but they don’t go unnoticed. People always tell me “you smell great” when I wear them. Note… all Jo Malone fragrances can be mixed together. I mix either of these with Pomegranate Noir… I always have a more intense and different scent when I want to amp up these florals.

I have it, I have it, I have it. Finally, I have it, it’s mine. It was a wonderful gift, and I’m eternally grateful. I barely notice the red apple; my nose doesn’t perceive it as a main note. It’s a flood of peony, generous and rich, natural and fresh, combining with rose and a bit of carnation. The base is leather/suede, very round and soft… and very sensual. It has a moderate trail for the first 2-3 hours, then stays very close to the skin. On my skin, it lasts about 5-6 hours, and much longer in hair. Simply put, I love it. This is what happiness smells like. Warning: it’s addictive!

I finally have it, I finally have it, I finally have it. It’s mine at last. It was a wonderful gift and I am eternally grateful. I barely notice the red apple; my nose doesn’t perceive it as the star; it’s a generous, rich, natural, and fresh peony, combined with rose and a hint of carnation. The base is leather/suede, very rounded and soft… and very sensual. It has a moderate trail for the first 2-3 hours, then it sticks to the skin. On my body it lasts 5-6 hours and on hair much longer. I simply love it. This is how happiness smells. Warning: it’s addictive!

  • It left me so captivated that it became my first purchase wish. I tried it for the first time two years ago and haven’t forgotten it since. I’ve repurchased it several times, but now it seems a bit pricey to me. I adore it: it’s elegant, soft but with a lot of presence, super feminine. It lasts all day on my skin. Without a doubt, it will be mine someday.

  • This fragrance captivated me so much that it’s the first one I added to my wishlist. I tried it for the first time two years ago and haven’t forgotten it since. I’ve tried it several times again, but unfortunately, it’s very expensive now. I love it; it’s elegant, soft, yet has a lot of presence… super feminine. Its longevity on my skin is optimal. No doubt, I’ll have it someday.

I tried it in the store today and it hooked me… the scent is very balanced, fresh, and sophisticated. You can tell the quality of the ingredients… It’s special, I absolutely loved it.

A beautiful, subtle, elegant, and sweet fragrance without being cloying, featuring a powdery peony. I chose it for my wedding when I walked into the store looking for a perfume that smelled like a bride. A summer bride, surrounded by flowers, in a champagne-colored silk dress.

  • Fruity and juicy opening that gives way to a fresh floral bouquet, powdery with a hint of musk. At first, it seems like jasmine is in charge, but then the peony takes over. After an hour, I notice the suede, quite clean, which makes the dry down warmer. It rounds out the fragrance and makes it more appealing. It’s super feminine, delicate, and versatile. Nothing opulent, but perceptible on the skin for at least 6 hours. It has the Jo Malone seal of approval and isn’t bad at all, though it’s not one of my favorites from the house.

  • On my skin, it opens with a very light floral bouquet, typical of peony-dominant scents, and over time it gains a soft suede note that smells great. As it settles, I notice juicy red apple. But the peony and suede are the stars, as the name suggests, though the dry down is loaded with Iso E Super. Projection is good with just two sprays at first, but it fades quickly, leaving a subtle bubble for about 7 hours. I see it as nice for mild-weather days. I found it very pleasant and perfect for work: discreet but not generic. I’m not a huge peony lover, but for those who like subtle scents, I recommend trying it to add something deeper without being heavy. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 7/10

It’s 100% floral and feminine. I loved the opening on my skin. Even though I’m not a huge fan of florals, its constant sweetness throughout the entire wear made it amazing. The projection and longevity are a bit weak, which happens with almost everything from Jo Malone.
