Hi! If you’re looking for a unique and extremely pleasant fragrance, Orientica’s Oud Saffron could be a great option for you. In my opinion, this perfume has become one of my favorites due to its delicious aroma and excellent longevity. Plus, the projection is great, meaning you can be sure the scent stays with you all day without constant reapplication. However, I should mention that some people might not enjoy the opening notes, as the smell resembles talc and incense and is a bit strong or distinct initially. That said, the fragrance evolves over time, and the aroma becomes delightful for almost everyone—it’s complex, delicious, sweet, woody, and powdery. If you like this unique aromatic combination, you’ll definitely love this perfume. Overall, if you’re seeking an elegant, long-lasting, unique, and very versatile fragrance, I’d definitely recommend giving Orientica’s Oud Saffron a try.

A couple of years ago, I was vaping chocolate chip cookie scents, and this smells exactly the same. I looked them up to compare, and they’re identical. Sure, it’s that classic rose and oud combo from oriental perfumery, but you can definitely smell that chocolate at the start. If I’d known that, I’d wear it as a perfume lol. It doesn’t smell bad; it’s rich, but the projection isn’t strong. I’ve worn it for two days and no one has noticed, plus it doesn’t last all day, though it outperformed the average. I grabbed it as a tester for $50 and have seen it for up to $150. I won’t pay that, but $40 or $50 is fair. It’s unisex; it works for me and my wife. The dry down reminds me of Montale Black Aoud, same rose vibe. Someone who smells it for the first time might absolutely love it. Thanks to Al Haramain and Orientica for giving us these scents at a great price.

As the name suggests: lots of saffron, then oud. For those who know Swiss Arabian, it’s that signature bright oud style. Those are the dominant notes. It’s a luminous, oriental perfume, totally unisex, with good fixation and performance—above the average for a Western EDT. It shines in cold climates, day and night, but it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys the Arabic vibe. It’s not a mainstream Western aroma, though the public in the East already knows it and wears it here without issues. Good quality perfume, fitting the price. In my comparison with other perfumes in the Rosa Oud combo, I disagree because this Orientica doesn’t have rose and is mostly saffron (floral and woody). Give it a try.

In my opinion, it’s an excellent fragrance with a floral and woody scent. If you don’t like oud, don’t buy this one, and definitely don’t buy it blind. I loved it; it’s versatile and has good longevity. The only thing that could be better is the sillage—it’s not bad, but could be stronger. On skin, it lasted over 6 hours, on clothes up to 10, projecting about 4 inches. I used 8-10 sprays for outdoor wear. For the price, it’s worth it; I got it for $50, but anything over $70 isn’t worth it. If you try it, like it, and find it at a good price, go for it. Good quality, nice smell, beautiful bottle—I really liked it. For me, it’s an 8/10. The worst part is the atomizer.

The name gives it away: lots of saffron and then the Oud. For those who know Swiss Arabian, it’s that bright oud style. Those notes dominate and feel luminous. It’s not mainstream Western, though the oriental public already knows and uses it without issues. It’s good quality, matching the price. In the comparison with other rose-oud combos, I disagree because this Orientica one DOESN’T have rose; it’s mostly saffron, floral, and woody. Give it a try.

An honest review with zero pretension because I can’t distinguish notes in this perfume, nor do I know how to write a proper review: it smells like vintage cream for grandmothers. Thank goodness I bought the Orientica set that included it and didn’t fall for the TikTok hype where everyone praises it, because honestly, that’s exactly what it smells like: a grandma who just took a shower and put on perfumed cream, then gives you a hug, leaving you with that characteristic aroma you’ll never forget. I know every nose is different, and you might love it, but try it first; definitely not a buy-it-blind option.

This was my first Arabic fragrance, and I won’t forget my reaction: I was terrified for the first two minutes; it was too strong and spicy, like a swarm of chemicals. But as it settled, it evolved into something incredible. After 10 minutes, it fully developed and became unique: defined spices, saffron taking center stage on a throne of soft oud, and a dusty base that adds mystery. Almost 18 hours on skin, and on clothes, it won’t wash off until you launder them. A true experience, but not a buy-it-blind option.

Hey! If you’re looking for something unique that truly sticks to your skin, Orientica’s Oud Saffron is a winner. It’s become my favorite because of that delicious scent and all-day longevity without needing reapplication. The projection is top-notch. Just a heads-up: at first, it smells like talc and incense—a bit strong and distinct—but it evolves into a complex, sweet, and woody blend that almost everyone loves. If you like that combination, it’s for you. It’s elegant, versatile, and I highly recommend it.

This perfume arrived today; it’s hugely similar to Arabins Tonka, following the same line. It seems to be the most common scent among Arabic perfumes. Nothing extraordinary; if you can get it for $50 like I did, it’s worth it, but not if it’s more expensive. I wouldn’t buy it again. 6.8/10.

Another one that smells like the same thing… pure oud, which is the only thing left on my skin. I had high expectations for this one, but it ended up being just another in my collection of spice and oud and oud and oud. Short performance. Blind buy: NO

My first Arabic perfume; I bought it and didn’t even want to take it out of the box, treating it like a treasure. I tried it and it met my expectations, but now it’s in the back of the closet because I could smell it from every corner.

If you already have Shaghaf Oud, this is redundant, and vice versa. The only difference is that the Orientica version feels spicier, a bit more loaded on the hot notes, while the Swiss Arabian one is softer thanks to the rose note.

A dupe for Maison Lancome’s Oud Bouquet… super similar. Of course, the Lancome one is finer in ingredients, but since it’s discontinued, this is a good option.

I like this perfume; in my opinion, it’s very good in terms of longevity. Great for night use or cold days. Lasts about 10 hours.
