  I picked up this attar to mix with my other chypres and extend longevity, but honestly, it smells incredible on its own. I tried it with Noir de Noir and they pair beautifully, one on each wrist. Hayaa is a bit more masculine at first, but the trail is super feminine; it smells like a man up close and a woman when the dry-down hits. The top notes are intoxicating, the amber and wood with the rose pull you into a hypnotic abyss. It’s elegant, mysterious, and seductive—perfect for a night wedding in a long dress. I had a hard time choosing a perfume for my brother’s vineyard wedding; I went with Noir de Noir because it smells like wine, chocolate, and roses, but Hayaa doesn’t fall behind, I just chose the other one because of the setting. It has great longevity, still clear on my skin after 5 hours, though it’s becoming a skin scent. For me, it’s unisex with a feminine lean. I recommend it for fall and winter; if you wear it at night, it will definitely wrap you in a halo of mystery.
