I’ll put my two cents in: don’t buy this blindly. It’s honey, lots of honey, and a touch of oud. Ninety-nine percent of the time, it smells this way from start to finish. It’s not a youthful or unisex honey, but something serious and masculine. Fortunately, it doesn’t smell like cheap synthetic; it could pass for a designer scent. Ideal for men 35 and up. I haven’t seen any women wearing it. I wear it in winter and fall—the colder, the better. It’s not here to get you flowers, but it’s pleasant as a unique aroma. Longevity and projection are good, though it’s not a beast. If you like sweets, repeat after me: don’t buy blindly.
I’ve had this for two weeks and, after using it the first day, I capped it, put it in its box, and left it in the darkest corner of my room. It’s strong and long-lasting, a tenacious fragrance, but that doesn’t save the fact that the scent isn’t pleasant. It smells sweet, like fermented honey, and that yeasty odor creates an alcoholic note that, combined with woody and floral nuances, reminds me of a drunk guy who used a pine cologne and woke up thrown in the neighbor’s garden. Thanks, Lattafa, but this time it’s a no.
I’ve had this for two weeks and, after spraying it the first day, I capped it, put it in its box, and left it in the darkest corner of my room. It’s strong and long-lasting, let’s say it’s TENACIOUS. But these qualities don’t matter if the scent isn’t rich, and in this case, IT ISN’T. It smells sweet, yes, sweet like fermented honey, and because of that (due to that confusing yeasty smell), an alcoholic note arises that, along with some woody and floral chords that can reach the sillage, reminds you of the scent of a “drunk guy who used a pine cologne and woke up thrown in the neighbor’s garden.” THANKS LATTIFA, but this time, it’s a NO.
Not for everyone. The honey dominates too much; it smells like alcoholic honey.
Starts with an understated leather note, and after about 5 or 10 minutes, a spiced honey floats to the surface (neither sweet nor cloying). As it dries down, it turns into a lovely unisex floral. Highly recommended for its accessible price.
Starts with a leather note that isn’t noticeable at first, but after 5 or 10 minutes, a spiced honey emerges—nothing cloying. As it dries down, it becomes a beautiful unisex floral. Highly recommended for the price.
