Hi, in my small Montale collection of about thirteen, this is one of my favorites. I won’t go into details today since I’m not the best at describing fragrances… It smells sweet, woody, honeyed, deep, and it’s addictive to the nose. I’m leaving the notes extracted from the official website because the ones here don’t match. Top: Honey, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Saffron, Cardamom, Lavender, Leather. Heart: Rose, Neroli, Oud, Patchouli. Base: Cedar, Sandalwood, Ambergris, Labdanum, Vanilla. Always try before you buy. Cheers.

Hi, I own about thirteen Montale perfumes, and this is one of my top picks. I’m not an expert at describing scents, but it smells sweet, woody, honeyed, and deep—it’s addictive. The official notes don’t match what it actually smells like, so here are the ones from the website: top notes of honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, saffron, cardamom, lavender, and leather; heart notes of rose, neroli, oud, and patchouli; base notes of cedar, sandalwood, ambergris, labdanum, and vanilla. Try it before buying.

It smells incredible. When I first sprayed it, I thought it was a powdery rose like Castilla and didn’t like it, but I kept testing it. The opening is a dusty rose with earthy touches from the patchouli and a dark, strong wood. It lasts about 10 hours; the projection isn’t strong, but the sillage is noticeable. It’s linear, elegant, and formal—perfect for lovers of woody scents who aren’t afraid of rose. I wouldn’t recommend buying blind if you don’t like those aromas.

A masterpiece: if you like rose and oud from Montale, this is another hit. Exquisite oud, not rotten but earthy—that’s the brand’s DNA. Intense, elegant, with immense projection. After a while, you notice the patchouli and rose; it becomes linear. For me, it’s flawless. Never buy blind. Unisex if you’re bold and into niche scents.
Idafe
A masterpiece. If you like rose and oud from Montale, this is another hit. The oud is exquisite—not rotten, but earthy, which is the brand’s signature DNA: elegant, intense, with huge projection. Then the patchouli and rose come through, and it settles into a linear trail. For me, it’s flawless. Never buy blind. It’s unisex if you’re bold and have niche tastes.
Malina
At first, it’s a definite no, but over time it softens and gains a bitter-sweet nuance. Whatever, it’s totally unisex.
