Descripción

Orquidea Negra by Daniel Josier is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance for women. The nose behind this creation is Daniel Josier. The top notes reveal truffle, black currant, ylang-ylang, and bergamot; the heart unfolds orchid, fruity notes, and woody notes; while the base settles on dark chocolate, vanilla, patchouli, incense, and vetiver.

  • At first, it smells like Black Orchid, but then it takes a different path. This Black Orchid by Daniel Josier becomes fruitier, with an acidic note that could be bergamot, and the orchid is always noticeable. It feels unique with a great formula. Highly recommended.

Black Orchid makes me feel like wearing a burgundy evening gown, a sexy neckline, pretty sneakers, diamond earrings, hair up, and red lipstick. It’s full-on sensuality, visible to everyone, living up to the phrase ‘announce your arrival’. Many compare it to Tom Ford’s Black Orchid and are right at first, but then they diverge: TF is rougher, this one is less complex but sharper and more seductive. While the other shouts ‘I like you’, this one looks at you, smiles, leans in, and wins you over with flirtation. It starts with jasmine, then ylang-ylang, and its truffle note is a gem. Citrus and berries liven up the dance, followed by spicy notes (pink pepper and cinnamon). Then the stars arrive: earthy patchouli, mysterious incense, dark chocolate, amber, precious vanilla, and fresh vetiver. How can you say no? It adds beauty, sensuality, and opulence. It’s my second favorite by Daniel Josier. I’m drinking a glass of red wine and sending a toast.

Black Orchid makes me feel like wearing a burgundy evening gown, a sexy neckline, cute flats, diamond earrings, hair pulled back, and red lipstick. It’s maximum sensuality, visible to everyone, and lives up to that phrase ‘announce your arrival.’ Many people compare it to Tom Ford’s Black Orchid and are right at first, but then they diverge: TF is rougher, this one is less complex but sharper and more seductive. • Zero originality, but at least the name matches the content. Brands that use weird names for dupes are worse. Bottom line: it smells fucking amazing and lasts like a beast, even if it’s not really my style. It’s well-balanced; the sweetness of chocolate and vanilla is countered by the tartness of the blackcurrant and the earthiness of patchouli and truffle. That’s what I get.
