It’s exactly Invictus but with an extra floral touch. The opening smells like freshly opened tropical fruit gum, but as it dries down, it improves massively, heading toward that woody and floral phase of the original. That said, the trail is as strong or stronger than Invictus; I think Armaf Oros just told Paco Rabanne ‘bitch please’. It’s radioactive. Be careful with how much you apply, because even you wouldn’t be able to handle that potency.
Ji ji, what I did was mix this Eau de Parfum with One Man Show by Jacques Bogart, something super dry and woody, to see if the sweetness of one would balance out the burnt, almost bitter notes of the other. Tried it at home on my arm: a spray of Oros, wait a few seconds, then layer One Man Show on top. Wow! What a marvel. Goodbye to the youthful, bland sweetness of Invictus. The blend has a modern vibe, with that dense green, resinous character that feels like an improved flanker, like it should be called ‘Mystic Blend’.
