Descripción

Oros Uomo by Oros is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2024, this composition features an aquatic top note that evokes the freshness of the sea, enriched with pink pepper, grapefruit, and bergamot. The heart of the fragrance unfolds a green and spicy elegance thanks to bay leaf, geranium, and a touch of spices. Finally, the base notes settle on a warm and woody foundation formed by amber and guaiac wood.

  • This has to smell like an Italian magnate stepping off a yacht in a Greek island, ready to go shopping and leaving a sophisticated trail wherever he goes! It’s an absolute beast, a safe buy. I’m finding it closer and closer to a fusion between Voyage d’Hermès Parfum and Essenza di Roma by Lb, but this one has extra notes that make it even better, like the ‘muscle’ version of Hermès. The longevity is on another level, hard to explain. Although the listed notes differ slightly from the brochure, I believe it’s a fragrance that will get you compliments by the handful: elegant, masculine, alpha male. Cardamom, bergamot, laurel, medium-fermented tea, and something smoky dominate, with exquisite woods. These are limited editions you’ll regret your whole life for waiting until they drop in price or for not buying them when you had the chance, because you deserve them. Once you want it, it disappears forever or becomes a cult classic with sky-high prices due to collectors; this happened to me with Midnight Paris, Chanel Ataeus, Cartier Santos, Gucci Pour Homme, Lalique Horse, etc. I understand it was a special edition by Armaf commissioned by Swarovski for their new debut brand, Oros, which is meant to be luxury with limited editions that later become highly sought after. The packaging is a large, robust box containing another box that impresses with its luxury; everything is designed to dazzle whoever opens it. A huge cap like a dark sun with gold and black, and a real Swarovski crystal of that size, specially made to adorn this perfume, valued at $100 pure crystal according to my research. The scent is one of my favorites in my collection, and if it nods to Hermès Voyage Parfum with a blend also reminiscent of Essenza di Roma, two jewels I absolutely love that Oros has put back on display. If you can buy it, do it; it’s a safe purchase. If you compare it to designer store perfumes, which are repetitive, expensive, and have terrible packaging, here Oros stomps on all those designers with its tremendous proposal. For an Arab house, this has a more Italian, Mediterranean, very dominant cut. The box says ‘Made in France’ and details that it was commissioned by Swarovski for their anniversary, so it was for their affiliates and employees, with part of the production leaking to us. When my perfume runs out and only the pure bottle remains, I’ll send it to a jeweler to remove the crystal from the cap and have them craft a pendant with that ‘light point’ crystal; it’s bigger, and I’ll gift it to my princess. So, on top of having a jewel on the perfume cap… this is extraordinary!
