Odenaturae is a love letter to the green, radiant and peaceful. Forget those starchy greens with vetiver or pine; here the green is pure, thanks to the chamomile from the start, with rich laurel and thyme, like going to the market to buy fresh herbs for an infusion. It doesn’t have a crazy evolution: 7 hours of chamomile and laurel, perhaps a slightly woodier touch at the end, but always those two notes. It smells good in your personal bubble; it doesn’t fill the room, but it would be nice to sit with you on the bus. It’s unisex, for everything, and 100% daytime, perfect for a sunny spring morning. A true joy. In short: this is spring.

It’s like going to the market for fresh laurel and thyme to make a rich infusion. It doesn’t have a crazy evolution; for 7 hours it smells of chamomile and laurel, perhaps with a slightly woodier touch at the end, but always the same. I couldn’t agree more with JPC on Odenaturae; their words were as if they were spoken by me. Exactly! What blew my mind was that mix of tomato leaf and chamomile. Imagine those cherry tomatoes on the vine, with that sticky resin that lingers on your fingers when you pick them; that’s the tomato accord, the most real one I’ve heard. With the chamomile, the combination is special and hard to describe. You have to try it. Maybe someone might remember it as something, but for me, it smells different from everything I’ve tried. It’s green and aromatic, but that mix creates a unique experience. If you’re looking for something new and different, here it is.

Odenaturae stays true to the brand’s description: green, luminous, radiant, and evocative. Sometimes green perfumes come to mind as sharp, astringent, or bitter, but nothing could be further from the truth. To say that would be doing it a disservice. It is extremely balanced, dominated by chamomile but with the rest of the notes playing their part to create nuances and a rich finish. Just putting on a couple of sprays and going for a walk is worth it. It’s a scent to enjoy, the perfect reflection of spring and a green like no other. Odenaturae is an ode to nature and perfumery.
