  Starts sweet like talc, an iris wrapped in well-sugared mandarin that drops in intensity after an hour to become very woody, turning into hot honey. That beeswax doesn’t smell like burnt candle but like a cup of honey, paired with sandalwood and a super recognizable cedar. The dry down is that talc-dusted iris, sweet and woody, which lasts until the ninth hour in the cold, but in spring/summer it feels like it’s going to live with you. I recommend it all year round, though in extreme heat it’s too much and you get suffocated; watch your sprays according to the temperature. It goes perfect with a polo or shirt, but also looks great with a blazer, sophisticated without being pretentious. If it’s a one, it’s the one from the sample: get it. Attention: there’s a 2015 version and another from 2023, I bought the discovery set in February, so I assume it’s the 2023 one. In summary: another iris scent, but down a different path.
