Nitro White by Dumont

A blend of ADN Stronger With You and Absolutely/Intensely with a fresh opening reminiscent of Nitro Red or Hawas, but softer and sweeter. Ideal for gourmand lovers. It dries down to a very well-executed fresh honey note, though I wish it had more projection. Between Nitro Red and Platinum, this feels much more personal and soft.

I barely notice the honey; I’d describe it as iris with a touch of sweetness, but not overpowering. I recommend it because it’s neither risky nor cloying. The longevity is about 5-6 hours on my skin, and the projection is moderate, nothing exaggerated. I’d buy it again, though it’s not groundbreaking.

Delicious perfume, one of the most unique I’ve ever smelled. The opening is an acidic bomb with freshness from the cypress; as it dries, honey, amber, vanilla, and leather emerge. Then myrrh takes over with the sweet touch of honey. It’s not cloying, but at night it unleashes its full potential—smoky and sweet. In heat, the smoky tone is very strong, like a hot beverage, so enjoy it in the cold. It’s a beast in longevity and projection, but test it first because it’s not for everyone. I give it 10/10, I loved it.

The vanilla and honey are very noticeable; it’s sweet. At first, I smelled juniper berries, but after macerating it, the opening changed and the vanilla and honey shone through. It feels like leather as a base, quite sweet. I don’t usually like leather perfumes like Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, but this one seems super delicious. Excellent longevity of 9+ hours. I don’t see it as very youthful, maybe for ages 25-30. I’ve never heard anything similar; it’s quite unique and original, one of my favorites. The presentation is simple, the classic Nitro bottle, though it’s the only one I use from the line.

When I shower with this perfume, I feel like a White Power Ranger; it’s a curious and winning delight, with that dusty-sweet custard touch and a certain air reminiscent of play-doh.

Even though Zancadilla might seem like a walk-on part, their review is the only one worth reading: it describes this perfume perfectly, and no one can argue with it.

I walked into Nitro with my hands behind my back because the red bottle didn’t catch my eye, but this scent left me speechless. It smells like tea with cinnamon, chamomile, and honey. Yesterday I tried it on at my mother’s shop, which sells strawberry cream, and at least seven people approached me not just to buy, but to ask what perfume I was wearing. The longevity is insane—even for me, who usually expects scents to fade in two hours—and the projection is out of this world.

Dumond Paris Nitro White: An oasis in a sea of olfactory monotony. In a market where houses like PUIG seem to recycle formulas (vanilla with sugar, more ambroxan, same old stuff), Nitro White breaks through with a truly distinct proposal. There’s no intent to follow trends here. There’s identity, intent, and presence. What strikes first is its balance between freshness and warmth, a contrast few modern men’s perfumes achieve without failing. It doesn’t rely on cloying sweetness that’s already tiring, nor does it try to mimic the latest flankers. Instead, it builds a robust structure with notes that breathe and evolve without being predictable. The opening is clean, almost sparkling, with an aromatic sensation evoking purity and determination. Then, gradually, well-integrated woods emerge and a creamy base adds body without becoming heavy. No sticky vanilla here. There’s magnetism, seduction, and masculinity. There might be a hint of sweetness, but it’s restrained, masculine, and devoid of teenage gestures. That’s what sets Nitro White apart: it doesn’t try to imitate. It’s still priced below what it offers, which won’t last long. It’s one of those fragrances that will likely see its price rise once the mass public discovers it. So if you’re drawn to the idea of a modern signature scent that doesn’t dilute itself in what everyone else smells, look no further. It’s a pleasure to find something like this: a perfume unafraid to stand up to the giants, doing so without copying, without shouting, but with solid footing. Dumond Paris didn’t invent gunpowder, but they did a great job on this composition. Do yourself a favor and try it before it jumps leagues. Because one thing is clear: this perfume plays above its current price category. Scent 10/10. Projection moderate+ to very high (depends on spray amount and application on clothes; enough sprays can elevate it to beast mode). Longevity (Batch 2024) +10 hours. Occasions: very versatile, preferably in cold or fresh weather and spring-summer nights, why not. Works great in autumn-winter for day, night, dates, parties, etc., adjusting sprays based on the situation.

I’ve had it for over a month, so here goes: this is a beautiful fragrance and one of the few Arab 10/10s (though made in France) that I recommend to all fragrance lovers. This is elegance, iris, creaminess, excellent longevity and projection; it’s a masterpiece. It opens with a delicious honey note that is very well executed, not cloying, and then, after just over an hour (which is a very long opening), it gives way to an iris that, of course, feels powdery, accompanied by a creamy softness from a vanilla and a leather that only peek out a little. This mid-life stage is the most durable part of the fragrance, and in its final form, it settles close to the skin as a vanilla amber that never abandons its profile. The maceration highlights the creaminess and deepens the honey note (making it slightly less bright) into a more realistic honey at the start. By the way, this doesn’t resemble any other fragrance, certainly nothing like Stronger With You or anything else, honestly. Finally, I love the bottle and the heavy metal cap (all Nitros have them), but I think it stands out on my shelf and I like it. For me, a resounding 10/10.

I’ve been wearing this since 5 PM and it’s still noticeable. I already own the Nitro Red, which is an absolute beast, and this seems inspired by it, though the White is creamier, more vanilla-forward, and mature. The Red is fruitier, vibrant, and youthful. I’ve barely used it since last year, but I’ve tested it three times, which is a lot. I was testing it a few weeks ago and wow, it has incredible charm; I’d dare say it’s a more refined scent than the Red, cleaner and softer without being weak. It’s great for daytime and for semi-formal or casual nights out. You’ll look good wherever you go, no doubt, and in any season. This Dumont house wasn’t really in the spotlight until everyone started talking about the Nitro Red. I have a loved one who owned it before the hype, and every time he wore it, he’d radiate and take over the room. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, highly, the white beast. Very pleasant, it will charm almost everyone. 9.5/10.

You could swap out the entire Paco Rabanne, Dior, JPG, and Invictus lineup for the Dumont Nitro line and you won’t regret it. My only fear is that prices will catch up, given the incredible quality of this line, it would be a shame.

Another Dumont masterpiece… I’ve rarely recommended a fragrance as much as Nitro Red, with that popular Invictus DNA here, and this one delivered everything (and more). It’s very similar to Odyssey Homme (White), that SWY dupe with Invictus notes in the opening, but here those notes are more pronounced. If you like either of those two, this surpasses both in longevity. That sweet SWY blend + the freshness of Invictus makes this a win-win. I don’t know how the other Nitros compare, but if they’re half as good as Red and White, they’re already winning.

Something incredible happens with this fragrance: I apply it and it smells like herbal tea for about 30-40 minutes, then it changes completely to smell sweet, like honey, amber, and leather; the dry down is the best part. In my opinion, it’s an excellent perfume for daily wear in cool climates, like an all-rounder. EDIT ONE YEAR LATER: I stopped using it because it’s very unisex, but that’s a matter of taste, though the surprising quality and longevity, worthy of an expensive perfume, don’t happen with all the Arab scents.
