Nitro Intense blends fruity, spicy, and woody notes to create a rich, cozy scent. The top notes are fresh and fruity, followed by a spicy, floral heart that adds depth. The warm, woody base provides a creamy, musky foundation that lingers, making it perfect for warm climates, day or night, work, or events. It’s excellent quality. It smells like the original 2010 Creed Aventus that revolutionized the market: much smokier, with an intense pineapple note, a pronounced birch accord, and a hint of leather. Performance is outstanding. Don’t confuse it with Nitro Black, which is a dupe of the current Creed. It’s a beast with impressive longevity; in summer, it lasts over 12 hours with a strong projection for the first 3 hours. Apply moderately to avoid olfactory fatigue. If you made it this far, let’s keep the secret so the price doesn’t go up.
Woody and fruity with very natural green notes. The opening is sweet pineapple, leather, and a pleasant wet earth scent. I detected strong, sweet tonka bean and vanilla. In short: very strong sweet and green, something like Dior Fahrenheit but with volatile gasoline. There’s a fresh field note; it’s complex, better for an advanced nose. The sweetness is strong and can be overwhelming, but it’s so rich. A hint of menthol, green stem water, pineapple, and amber. Two sprays are already a lot; you need to moderate the amount since ‘Intense’ is in the name. It’s versatile, a bit of a boss vibe, but goes with any outfit. It’s more for men over 26; I don’t see it as ‘light’ for teens—it has power and you need to know how to wear it.
Another Aventus inspiration very similar to this house’s Black version, except this one is fruitier, has fewer citrus notes, and sits closer to the skin. Personally, I absolutely loved it. It doesn’t have the brutal performance of a CDNIM, but for me, it’s just right. It’s more intimate, refined, and less loud. It doesn’t bother anyone. I haven’t smelled the Absolut Aventus version, but I assume it’s very similar. The Nitro line has great ingredient quality for the price. Totally recommended.
It’s a much better fragrance than CDNI. Better projection, better quality… I’m not sure if it smells more like Aventus because I’ve never tried it.
It’s really rich, an exquisite smoky pineapple. You can tell the darkness; the blackcurrants, plum, and lavender blend perfectly with the base woods. Longevity is 6 to 7 hours, with moderate projection for about an hour and a half. I have the 2024 batch of CDNI; while Armaf projects a bit more, the newer batches have similar longevity. I notice the CDNI smells more citrusy, just like Zara Vibrant Leather, which I also own. To clarify, Dumont Intense is totally recommended. Its only downside is that longevity could be better, but for the price, it’s great. I’ve used it three times and will see if it improves with time and aging.
It’s an Aventus clone by Creed but way better for the price. Performance matches Nitro Red if you have it. The first two hours have beastly projection, and by the third hour, the trail becomes more personal. Then it stays skin-scented for about 3 hours. For me, this will always be top tier—not just for Intense fragrances in the Aventus style, but this one is super good.
I don’t know much about perfumes; I buy them because I like them or to collect. That’s how I’ve accumulated a lot, and in 2017 I got a CDNI. I loved it so much I used it more than usual, more than any other. It was fascinating, and the opening never bothered me; quite the opposite. But today, to preserve the remaining 20 ml, I looked for an alternative and found this Nitro. Wow, so much more delicious. The opening is spectacular and made me regret using the CDNI. The quality is on another level, and that smoky pineapple scent is unbeatable (at least among dupes). Impressive—I looked for silver and found gold. Highly recommended.
Dumont Nitro Intense is a beast, a brutal inspiration for Aventus. While it leans a bit more fruity, it has become my favorite among all the options. That smoky pineapple and wood blend creates a synergy that wins everyone over. The skin longevity is insane, lasting up to 12 hours, making it perfect for all-day wear. The projection is respectable, around 3 hours. The best part is the price—incredibly low and attractive. If you want an alternative that smells great and actually performs, this is my recommendation.
I let it macerate for a bit, and wow, it’s a bomb. Big projection for 3 hours, with skin longevity of 8 to 10 hours. It’s a heavy fragrance, but what I feel most is that boozy, smoky pineapple with woody notes. Definitely a gem.
I’m not sure if it’s the plum or blackcurrant note they claim, but the first 20-30 minutes I don’t like the smell, after that time it’s a fantastic scent. At the moment I’m left with this and Supremacy NOI as the most pleasant in this line!
I don’t understand how people have deified the infamous Club The Nuit Intense when they have this masterpiece. Its opening is RICH and that alone makes it better than the so-called “black beast,” strong but rich, like sweet smoked pineapple; within minutes the other notes start to stand out, so far I haven’t found floral aromas, I find more a very rich smoky citrus scent. It projects and lasts quite a bit, I’d say on skin it lasts about 6 to 8 hours without issues, ideal for hot days
One of the most interesting Aventus clones and inspirations for following a different path than most without losing affinity with the DNA it’s inspired by; It opens with a juicy, very sweet and partially caramelized pineapple, as if it were roasted or pressed (it’s slightly perceived as synthetic, but pleasant). As it dries down, the sweetness of the pineapple continues, accompanied by fruity tones, then gradually decreases while a dry smoky note begins to take over, subtly spicy and spiced by pepper and a cinnamon-myrh combination. The dry down can be a bit monotonous since in the end the sweetness fades and only the smoke remains. I like that the smoke replaces the green, woody, and mossy tones that dominate in other versions when drying. Excellent longevity, very masculine scent, you have to be careful with sprays because the smoky note with that spicy tone can be overwhelming or irritating. Personally, I wouldn’t wear it in extreme heat because it maintains a more marked sweetness than its Aventus-type alternatives, and personally I don’t feel like smelling like smoke when it’s above 33 degrees. Less fresh, more elegant.
Beautiful fragrance, I bought it before buying CDNi, based on reviews it seemed like the better option, I don’t regret it in the slightest, it has a very pleasant lemon scent with a bit of pineapple very much in the style of MontBlanc Explorer. Highly recommend! One of my favorites
I’ll have to let it oxidate for a few weeks because the performance is very poor. What a shame because the smell is so rich, but with luck it only projects for half an hour in a closed room 🙁
The reality isn’t as much like Aventus; it’s more like MontBlanc Explorer but with a sweet touch that makes it more pleasant, it projects very well and has a longevity of more than 7 hours.
The performance is poor right out of the bottle; it’s natural but I’m consternated because, unlike Nitro Red which lasted quite a while and was even intense, with this one you have to let it oxidate for a few weeks if you want to use it daily. Despite what people say, I consider it a more subtle scent, better for outings that aren’t in intense heat, because due to the smoky, sour pineapple, it feels a bit overwhelming in hot weather, making you feel like you’re being roasted. Don’t misunderstand, it’s the best fragrance I’ve had so far, and setting my own comments aside, I use it daily until I find another with a similar pineapple scent but not smoky, which is the main issue with how I use it. 9.5/10 from Perfumon, it lingers on clothes and you fall in love, it’s not a 10 because nothing is perfect.
ANOTHER GREAT AVENTUS DUPE BUT… Creed’s Aventus DNA is one that leaves me largely indifferent; it’s not bad, just feels overrated to me. When I bought this, I thought it would be a dupe for Creed Aventus Absolu, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. Is the scent bad? Not at all, it smells great and is the kind of reliable perfume that saves you in a pinch, just don’t buy it expecting an Aventus Absolu dupe. PERFORMANCE (based on 10 sprays, which is my usual amount) Very good longevity, lasting about 8 hours on skin and for days on clothes. The only “downside” (in quotes) is that I feel it doesn’t project much; I get about 2 hours of moderate projection before it becomes a personal bubble. Maybe I’m experiencing olfactory fatigue, I need to keep testing. OCCASIONS I’ve worn it day and night, and it performed well both times. It’s actually performing better in cool and cold climates, HOWEVER, in hot weather, the fragrance refuses to fade and the sweat makes it throw out very pleasant bursts. It works perfectly for a date; it’s a scent people really like, and every time I’ve worn it I’ve received good comments (I don’t usually look for this in a perfume, but if it happens, I appreciate it). CONCLUSION Scent 9/10 (Nice scent, but the Aventus DNA leaves me indifferent) Longevity 9/10 Projection 7/10 Versatility 10/10 (It’s a workhorse, gets you out of a jam) Occasions: Day and night Climate: Cool and cold Should I recommend it? If you’re looking for an easy-to-wear perfume for daily use and you like Creed’s Aventus DNA, yes, 100% recommended.
For the price, what a steal!
DELICIOUS!!!! THE BEST!!!
It reminds me of Aventus, but it’s not an alternative; it’s more like a sweeter Aventus. It’s long-lasting and projects a lot. For the price and performance, it’s an excellent option for me.
I will never buy CDNI again; this is a GEM. I love the scent, and yes, it reminds me of the Aventus DNA. It just arrived, I’ll test it for a few days, but at the price (less than $25 at Walmart), it’s almost mandatory if you like Aventus. I’ll come back with more details. My initial impressions: it far surpasses CDNI, eliminating that unpleasant opening. It is indeed a sharp citrus, but with smoky pineapple and berries, very fruity with hints of incense. As it dries, it becomes more amber, with more incense, sweet, and woody. I’d highlight that it’s for older gentlemen; it’s not a ‘grandpa’ smell but has a lot of character; I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone under 20-25, but rather for formal occasions or weddings. For 30+, it can be your daily wear. Longevity: easily 8-10 hours, on clothes it’s eternal (I’ve washed shirts and it’s still there). On skin, it lasts until you shower, and sometimes after. Watch out with the sprays. Projection: 1-2 meters, fills the room, anyone passing by will notice. Sillage: heavy, due to that amber and resinous base. Compliments: personally I haven’t received any from women, but my acquaintances have asked. I give it a 6/10, influenced by my age; if you’re young, it might sound out of place. Should you buy blind? Yes, if you like Aventus and are looking for that smoky, resinous touch. If you’re young, not 100%, but give it a try. For me, the true Black Beast is this; it beats CDNI, Zara Vibrant Leather, and all the clones by a million turns. That’s my opinion, a hug.
It clearly has the Creed Aventus DNA, but it feels different: more cheerful and sparkling. The sweet-and-sour pineapple and blackcurrants in the opening are a fruity explosion that made me smile; it’s vibrant, juicy, almost addictive. I agree with the reviews: the sweetness is the star. What I love most is that, while it follows a known path, it dares to take another route. It’s as if Dumont reinterpreted Aventus, giving it a sweeter, more accessible twist without losing the masculine touch. The leather appears subtly, almost a whisper that balances the base and adds seriousness. Nitro Intense doesn’t try to be an exact copy, and I appreciate that. It’s perhaps the sweetest clone in the family, but it does it with intention and character. Ideal for those seeking presence but also a friendly, charming side.
Very citrusy opening, slightly sweet from the plum and cinnamon, but nothing synthetic. The quality-to-price ratio is one of the best purchases on the market today. The moment I smelled it, I decided this would be my signature scent, especially for hot weather, though it also works in winters that aren’t too cold. I give it an 8.5/10.
Every nose is different, but I know some might think it’s bad. The opening is super strong, almost like a lemon spray or floor cleaner, very similar to CDNI Beast Black, but that sensation passes in minutes, leaving a fresh scent with smoky pineapple notes. I think it suits people over 28. The longevity is excellent: I tested it three times, playing soccer in the heat it lasted over 7 hours, moving around at work it lasted 7 or 8 hours, and for casual use about 9. It projects strongly for 2 or 3 hours. For me, it’s a good alternative to Creed Aventus Absolut.
My god, this is gorgeous. Very well-structured, and since I love Club de Nuit Intense Man and Creed Aventus, this is a clone of both. It’s clean, elegant, sensual, cheap, and affordable. I’m going for it, I want it, and I must have it. It has great longevity, excellent dry-down, and impressive projection. Simply something beautiful.
Don’t believe everyone who says it doesn’t smell like plum; I definitely noticed it in the opening, even though the official website doesn’t claim it. Here’s my take: it’s rich from the start, with that smoky pineapple touch I never felt in my CDNI. In this one, the fruit comes out direct and is very pleasant. The dry down is a great match to CDNI, same Aventus DNA: that smoky and woody side is exquisite in both. I see it as more of a night scent, though it’s not bad during the day. It’s super versatile, works for casual and formal occasions, and even for dates thanks to that noticeable vanilla touch. On skin, it’s more smoky; on clothes, it’s fruitier and vanilla-like. Performance: lasts a minimum of 10 hours on skin and clothes until you wash them. Strong projection for 2-3 hours, then a personal bubble. Scent 9/10, price 10/10. Ideal for ages 25 and up.
Don’t believe me if I say it doesn’t resemble Hawas Black. I own all three: Hawas Black, Nitro Intense, and CDN Precieux (Supremacy is something else entirely, very sweet). It definitely smells more like Hawas than CDN. If I had to choose the best, it’s undoubtedly the CDN: it’s the roundest and most sophisticated. Hawas is the most durable but rustic, and Dumont is well-executed. If you’re unsure, buy based on your budget, but the Armaf one is excessively pricey compared to the others.
Honestly, it doesn’t smell fruity at all. It reminds me of Zara Vibrant Leather but with steroids: very fresh with a cedar that dominates. I really liked it; it projects a ton, but it doesn’t last as long as Nitro Red. Unlike the Red, this one doesn’t evolve; it’s quite linear.
I received it and went out to test it. It projects a lot and has great presence, ideal if you like these kinds of scents. To me, the opening sounded like Axion soap ‘degreaser,’ nothing pleasant at first. As it dries down, it becomes more wearable, though it still isn’t my style. My girlfriend said it smells like insecticide, which is funny but true. In the end, skin pH changes everything; this Nitro isn’t for me, but it could be gold on another person’s skin.
I bought it to check the Aventus Absolu DNA. Since it has no Dumont, I was willing to try. From the start, it smells of sweet, ambered pineapple, almost like syrup. The citrus is less vibrant and the smoke less potent. It projects massively, fills the room, and lasts two hours. As it dries down, it stays ambered, revealing floral notes with patchouli and pepper, like a cocktail. Then come clean white woods from the musk. Finally, vanilla appears aromatic, not like dessert. The amber is always there, adding body and warmth. It’s delicious and generates compliments from everyone. (My colleagues asked me to buy it for them as a gift). I’d describe it as a sweeter, ambered Aventus that’s less citrusy and woody, so not for summer. It looks more mature due to the floral and spicy touch, ideal for formal occasions: shirt or suit, day or night, in spring, fall, and winter. 100% recommended.
It’s delicious, sensual, and very masculine. It has a rock-and-roll, nocturnal vibe. It reminds me of Black XS L’Exces, with that canned pineapple in syrup. Although it seems like a clone of Aventus Absolu, Beast Mode. One of the best purchases of the year. Good for all year and any occasion. 10/10.
I barely smell the fruit; in fact, it’s not that sweet. What I notice most is a green, refreshing scent. It’s truly exquisite.
Personally, I didn’t like it. It’s not a bad smell, but it reminds me of those Aventus imitations. To me, it smells like a pineapple palette with a spicy kick from the pepper. You might love it. Worth buying blind for the price. Lasts and projects a lot. Don’t use it in enclosed spaces. Good perfume, just not for me.
If you’re looking for something refined that turns heads and stays put, this is it. I love this DNA—the Creed DNA, but in this 2023 Absolu version. I went to try it, and it smelled 90% identical. My mind was blown: niche perfume over €300 versus this one that cost me €25. What a rip-off. It’s one of those I’d buy every time I run out. If you like this DNA, buy without hesitation. If you have Club de Nuit and think it smells the same, you’re wrong; both smell great. I own both, and every time I wear them, I fall in love more, especially as they dry down. The compliments will come.
Same as the regular Nitro Black but with a sweeter touch. I don’t get the point of making two similar fragrances. Don’t waste time; just buy the Club de Nuit Intense directly.
I’m not an expert on notes, but it smells elegant and good; that’s enough for me. It gives me confidence to wear a button-down. It has a strong trail but doesn’t last as long; while it does, it smells delicious. Wear it at night. If you’re looking for a cheap Aventus-style scent, go for it—I love it for the price.
I bought this blind without ever trying the original. Today, after using the Creed, I see just how incredible this version is. They share the same soul, but have different aromatic families. It smells very oriental, sweet, and masculine, with black fruits and smoked pineapple on the opening. I don’t wear it in the heat; it’s for winter or fall. To me, it’s not elegant; better for dates than a first date. The trail and longevity are high. A perfume that either carries you or drags you along—best deal.
Hello. Performance is a 10; the quality-to-price ratio is brutal. I love the scent, but be warned—it’s not for everyone. My advice: test it before dropping a fortune on a full bottle.
I bought 5 versions of Aventus Absolu, and this is the one that stole my heart. It doesn’t take anything away from the original; they aren’t identical, but you have to smell them side-by-side to notice the difference. It smells like success without that cheap detergent vibe. Smoky, fruity, and citrusy notes. Perfect for any occasion. Scent: 10, Price: 8, Projection and Longevity: 8 each.
