  • It’s not bad; it’s a fragrance of contrasts. At first, you notice a bergamot that fades quickly to reveal the vanilla. They say it’s made with an expensive vanilla absolute, and well, the note is similar to Eau Des Missions, which I love and prefer, but this one goes for 30€ for 500ml… so either it doesn’t have such expensive ingredients or who knows. The idea of creating a darker, edible-style vanilla is executed with spices, cashmeran, and molecules like ambermax or ambrocenide. Since the brand emphasizes those molecules so much, I feared the scent would end up dry, but no, the vanilla keeps the spotlight the whole time. I also feared the cashmeran would monopolize the scent, but although it’s noticeable, the vanilla is always ahead. The natural vanilla bean scent is one of my favorites, and I haven’t felt the real scent in any perfume, but here, with a little imagination, it gets close because the ingredients surrounding the vanilla don’t show up bluntly but add small nuances that complement it. The performance is deceptive because it’s not explosive, but once it settles, you can smell it for many hours. The conclusion is that it doesn’t seem necessary to charge these prices; they aren’t the quintessence they advertise, but they are certainly pleasant.

Vanhera is one of the best vanillas I’ve tried and one of the best perfumes from the brand in my opinion. I perceive it as a very woody vanilla, with cardamom and pepper spices giving it an ointment-like and creamy aspect, similar to Lune Feline from Atelier des Ors, but more subtle, less dense, and with well-balanced accords, not too sweet or overly musky or synthetic. On the contrary, I feel it’s very organic, almost gourmand, and it performs perfectly in the cold. I’ve really liked it; to my nose, it’s unisex, suitable for semi-formal occasions and dates, since that warm aspect is very distinctive and pleasant. It has excellent performance, but only for cold climates. I recommend trying it, especially if you love vanillas, just like Vanagloria from the house. Rating: 8.5/10.

  • Unisex vanilla, definitely for cool and cold climates. Although it’s a delicious vanilla similar to the natural kind, it’s so surrounded by pepper and cardamom that it’s not subtle. It’s a fragrance with a lot of presence and sillage. I enjoyed it a bit, but I got tired of how spiced it was and gifted it away; I think I prefer smelling it on others than on myself.

  • Vanhera is exquisite. It features an absolute vanilla of extremely high quality that includes the bean, and it smells divine—nothing like a cake, but rather a real vanilla bean… woody, dark, rich, spiced, almost liqueur-like. It’s like you’re drinking a vanilla shake with its beans, woods, and pepper. A wonderful and addictive scent.

  • I received a sample when buying another fragrance from the brand. I liked it, but on my skin, the spices, especially the cardamom, stand out much more than the woods, and that note didn’t excite me. The vanilla and woods took a while to emerge, only appearing if applied generously. Good perfume, unisex, ideal for trying before buying. From this brand, Vanagloria has been my favorite from start to finish. To each their own ;).

  • What a delight! On my skin, the woods and vanilla dominate, and it lasts for hours, though the sillage isn’t beastly. I’m falling in love with this brand more every day; a fair price for brutal quality. I already own three fragrances and they all keep getting better; I’ll keep expanding the collection.
