Descripción

Neroli a la Cardamome du Guatemala by Chopard is a floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Alberto Morillas and Nathalie Lorson. The top notes unfold the freshness of neroli and mandarin; the heart reveals the elegance of orange blossom and Guatemalan cardamom; while the base notes land with the warmth of ambrette musk and white wood.

  • A perfectly balanced citrus-floral opening, with a slight mentholated touch that vanishes in minutes. The most vibrant, fresh, and sparkling neroli I’ve ever smelled, what a joy. In the spicy heart, the soft green cardamom is overshadowed by neroli and mandarin, the stars alongside a clean, luxurious musk. Lasts 7 hours on skin, with medium-to-high projection for the first three hours before fading. Unisex, perfect for summer but suitable for semi-formal occasions. It’s not just pleasant; it’s a very luxurious citrus elixir.

  • Morillas and Lorson didn’t stretch too far to create something new. I agree it’s 90% similar to Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino. It doesn’t disappoint because it offers superb quality, superior to Tom Ford. Remember that cardamom is one of the most expensive ingredients, along with natural vanilla, iris, or oud. This Chopard carries the best cardamomo on the market; where Tom Ford relies on citrus, Chopard lets cardamomo shine, and it’s in those nuances where the differences emerge—small in scent, huge in quality. It adds an elegance that only the most seasoned noses will truly appreciate. Chopard presents a product made with care and love, with packaging of genuine luxury; perhaps they didn’t take many risks with the scent or offer something new, and what they lack in innovation they make up for in quality and elegance. Gentlemen, the world’s best Neroli Portofino isn’t from Tom Ford, it’s from Chopard. More elegant, much longer-lasting, with better projection and a fair price. The unboxing alone is an experience: the care in the bottle, the box, the velvet pouch, the booklet, and the gorgeous cap that weighs like a dream… quality inside and out. If you’re a neroli lover, this Chopard offers a lot for a fair price. If not, any clone will suffice. Some drink Tetra Pak wine, others a Reserva Rioja. Choose wisely.

  • Arrived with just fleeting notes of orange blossom and cardamom. I was disappointed. The scent isn’t bad, but there are similar options at a lower price, like Zara’s Nude Cashmere.
