It reminds me of a 90s perfume with that woody musk and floral blend that was all the rage back then, though I can’t recall if it was late 80s or early 90s. Unlike others, here the white florals and mint dominate any citrus notes. The musk comes out more in the dry-down, but the white florals are always there. It brings to mind Hermès Jardin or Guerlain Aqua Allegoria colognes, but with more punch, which is a huge plus. It’s like if Jean-Claude Ellena decided to play around with something oriental. It’s delicate, beautifully crafted, and lovely, but I don’t see it as masculine.
Musk Collection by Al Haramain. Okay, okay, okay. First impression: the scent isn’t anything new. To me, it’s a mix of Egoïste Platinum, Bleu EDT by Chanel, and Cool Water by Davidoff. It’s clean, very musky, giving a shower gel vibe, slightly aquatic, floral, green, fresh, with a ‘blue’ touch and very masculine. The style sits somewhere between the 90s and modern. It’s like if Egoïste Platinum and Cool Water borrowed a modern blue note from Bleu. Longevity is average, about 6-7 hours, with very soft projection. Perfect for daily wear: gym, office, quick outings, or just at home. It’s nostalgic for the 90s with a modern blue twist. Hugs and blessings.
After using it several times, this Musk Collection brings me back to memories of Creed Himalaya.
