  It smells exactly as described, and all the notes are clearly distinguishable. The woody opening (which smells like oud to me) can be intimidating at first, but wait a few minutes: the ylang-ylang arrives, addictive and creating a creamy, sweet blend with the wood. The incense and amber add depth and body; the rose is there, though not the star. The texture is rich, with no alcohol that evaporates in a breath. On my skin, it’s sublime: over 10 hours of longevity, strong projection for the first six hours, then soft until it fades. Many consider it unisex, but for me, it’s very feminine: a fierce women’s perfume, perfect for spring or autumn with a leather jacket to feel powerful. Don’t buy blindly because of the strong opening; it’s high-end niche and the price is steep. The packaging is another masterpiece—a sturdy box with a silk lining. I’d buy it again, but since you don’t need to spray much for it to announce ‘I’m here,’ it’ll last a long time in my collection. It’s not for daily wear: it’s for nighttime and semi-formal occasions. It has nothing to do with my other 200 fragrances. It has me hooked.
