Ylang in Gold is one of the most sophisticated summer fragrances I’ve ever smelled. A bookish tropical floral with delicate fruity notes and nothing juvenile. I detect ylang-ylang, sweet orange, peach, and coconut. Then it dries down to a velvety, sweet finish with sandalwood and musk. Divine. It has a subtle vintage touch that not everyone will like. It’s beautiful but simple and fairly linear. Although the scent isn’t novel or evolves much, the blend of notes is masterful. Very versatile and feminine. Perfect for a date or something special. My partner doesn’t love it (even though we usually agree on scents); she says it smells good but “like an old lady.” As for the bottle? It’s one of the most beautiful out there today. The downside? Performance. Light projection and lasts about four hours. For an expensive niche fragrance, it’s terrible. Despite loving the smell, I wouldn’t buy it today because of this. Hopefully, they improve it. For now, I’m sticking with my Yuniqu decant.

Honestly, it just smells like ylang, vanilla, and a very, very light coconut. For the price, I find it lacking.
It smells like Chanel No. 5 and Gabriel Essence, but that’s a plus, not a flaw. It’s spectacular! It has a creamy coconut and vanilla base that’s perfectly balanced. If the price were more reasonable, I’d add it to my collection without hesitation.
Terrible longevity. I’ve had the bottle for two years, and neither maceration nor oxygenation seems to help. I only wear it in pajamas to sleep; outside, it fades in two hours. What a disappointment, even though the scent is absolutely delicious.
