Straight out of the bottle, black pepper dominates with woods and a green undertone. Gradually, the pepper softens and leather joins the wood notes. It smells dry and bitter, though with a very subtle sweetness. By the end, it turns slightly amber without much change. It’s more masculine and works in any weather. The performance is short, especially in longevity. Personally, I didn’t like it; it doesn’t smell bad, but dry perfumes with heavy black pepper aren’t my thing, and this delivers on both fronts. Plus, it fails on longevity and the price is high. For me, it’s a ‘meh’.
