The opening is sparkling, citrusy, and effervescent; I detect a subtle nod to Aventus with apple and pineapple notes, perhaps enhanced by smoky labdanum. In the heart, the citrus persists but softens, while the labdanum and pepper gain strength over a woody-green base that lasts until the end with few changes. Performance is very good: a fresh, citrus scent that lasts well on the skin without issues. It feels more masculine, ideal for temperate or hot climates. It smells great, but it doesn’t drive me crazy. Compared to the house, it surpasses Mark Buxton’s but falls short of Geza’s. The good: pleasant scent and good performance. The bad: price and lack of originality.
