Another good scent from Dark Beat, though not the typical one that I absolutely love or that turns my head. The compositional quality is undeniable. It explodes with bright citrus. That citrus, even though it never fully disappears, fades a bit, just like the sharp green accord that starts out stinging before fading but remaining present. As it dries down, the scent takes us on a salty (I definitely detect it) and aromatic journey. Overall, it’s fresh, invigorating, summery, and versatile; although it’s salty, it doesn’t just ask for the beach. The aromatic part helps open other doors. Performance is decent, moderate longevity, and soft-to-moderate sillage. I wish it performed better, honestly. Easy to wear, but as I said, it doesn’t turn my head.
Taurien
Starts with a juicy mandarin wrapped in a marine atmosphere. On my dry skin, it maintains the mandarin scent but surrounded by a herbal, aromatic, slightly aquatic, and intensely salty halo. It has moderate sillage and 7 hours of longevity. Completely unisex, summery, and ideal for dressing up by the seaside for casual occasions. Scent: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10, Sillage: 6.5/10, Versatility: 7/10.

Manaqua from Darkbeat Parfums, courtesy of José Manuel. Very aromatic, fresh, and balsamic citrus opening. After five minutes, as it dries down, I notice a very pleasant rose scent. In my perception, I don’t detect salty or myrrh notes, which would have been nice since myrrh is one of my favorites. The longevity on my skin was about 7 hours until it faded away. A totally unisex perfume.

Mandarin scent with a fresh, marine, and aromatic base. Easy to wear and super pleasant. Ideal for everyday use, especially in summer or spring. Smells very Mediterranean, clean, and fresh without drawing too much attention. Scent: 9, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Versatility: 9, Originality: 7, Overall: 8.

Marine notes with lots of mandarin, clean, elegant, summery, and super refreshing. One of the most wearable from Dark Beat due to its versatility; very pleasant and easy to wear. You can apply it generously and still smell great and pleasant.

I saved it for the end of the Dark Beat pack. The first time it didn’t hook me, but upon trying it again, wow, how good it is! It’s citrusy with that fine soap and clean smell that sticks to the skin, neck, and shirt cuffs. Very impressive.
