Very pleasant, elegant, and masculine fragrance. Smells almost like Spicebomb Extreme but with less spice and at a much better price. It has great sillage and longevity for its category. I bought it without hesitation because the creator is master perfumer Alberto Morillas.
Good perfume, very pleasant, masculine, and elegant. Smells a lot like Spicebomb Extreme but less spicy and cheaper. It has good sillage and longevity within its range. I bought it without thinking twice because the perfumer is master Alberto Morillas.
I went to the store for the classic from the line and stumbled upon this new fragrance. Without knowing much about it, I took a risk, and I have to say, I love it. It has a soft scent but a great trail; to my taste, it’s elegant and subtle, even a bit feminine. It’s fresh, though not in the conventional citrus way—the citrus notes are there, but they’re not the main focus.

Bvlgari Man Black Cologne smells citrusy, floral, and spicy. Like other Bvlgari scents, it delivers elegance and subtlety. In its development, you get floral and fresh notes from the citrus and jasmine, though sometimes similar spices to the original show up (maybe cinnamon, pepper, and tobacco). Overall, it’s pleasant and attractive, but it has weak projection—you only notice it when you’re right up close. Longevity is good, lasting up to 7 hours. It’s timeless, but works best in spring and summer.
It’s a pretty good fragrance. The citrus is there but doesn’t stand out alone; it blends perfectly with rum and amber over a sandalwood base that carries it. I wouldn’t recommend it for extreme heat because the rum gets cloying, but it’s incredible for a late afternoon or evening party. Don’t overdo it, though, as it can get heavy.
It’s a pretty good fragrance. The citrus notes are there but don’t stand out alone; they blend perfectly with rum and amber over a sandalwood base that carries it. I wouldn’t recommend it for extreme heat because the rum makes it heavy, but it’s amazing for a late-night party. Don’t overuse it, as it can indeed be a bit overwhelming.
A good surprise when buying blind. It’s very well blended and balanced. Starts with citrus notes and then transitions into a woody and musky blend that I really like. I’d give it 7.5/10. I don’t detect any floral notes at all.
Blind buy surprise, very well blended and balanced. Starts citrusy, then moves into a great woody and aldehydic mix. 7.5/10. I don’t really detect the floral side.
Just tried it and it smells a lot like L’Homme Idéal Cologne.
I tried it on a used sample from Wallapop (I do that too). I loved it so much that, knowing it’s discontinued, I hunted it down and bought a bottle. Man Black Cologne is original: starts citrusy and fresh, then shifts to nocturnal notes with rum, clean white flowers, and a tuberose that’s right on the edge of being too much. Resinous sandalwood base and a hidden suede accord that give it class. The name fits. I’m not a fan of the Man in Black line, so I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday wear. Performance is solid: six hours of longevity, moderate projection at first, then it settles into a personal bubble. The intense accords make up for it. Smells masculine; ideal for late afternoon/evening in mild weather or cold, not extreme heat. Perfect for dinner on a patio or for autumn/spring. If you like the line and want something more versatile and lighter than the original (considering the reformulations), I’d recommend hunting it online. The atomizer is bad, like all in this line. Salu2.
If you lived in the 90s, this smells like an older lady’s perfume. It’s weird they market it for men. That rum-and-flowers blend is amazing.
If you lived in the 90s, this smells like the typical old lady’s perfume. It’s incredible that they’re selling it for men. That rum-and-flowers mix is simply disgusting.
