  Nolita, another gem from Bond No. 9 since 2017. It’s named after the Italo-Nuyorican neighborhood in Manhattan. Back in the nineties, the area saw a boom of yuppies, boutiques, and bars. This rich fragrance blends citrus and florals; the bottle even comes with an ultra-feminine lipstick. The notes harmonize beautifully: freesia, mandarin, lily, amber, rose, sandalwood, musk, and jasmine. The opening smells of exquisite mandarin and citrusy freesia, which dominates at first before blending in. Then it evolves into a warm, slightly powdery aroma that wraps around you with creamy lily and jasmine; the rose lingers but is almost imperceptible. The amber adds an intriguing warmth to the florals, while the mandarin keeps it from being a green bouquet, brightening everything up. The projection is delicate and soft with moderate sillage (unless you spray a lot). Longevity is 5-6 hours, then it fades, so I carry a refiller. I find it original and unique. Bond No. 9 describes it as a lady scent, and it is: feminine, soft, and fresh. I wear it during the day. It’s attractive, precious, floral with a citrus top. It’s delightfully charming!!!

  The simplest scent I’ve ever smelled. My husband gave it to me for my birthday in August 2022, but honestly, it didn’t click. It says nothing; Versace Bright Crystal has way more presence. If it weren’t for the price, I’d only wear it to the grocery store. I just detect a faint freesia, a lily, and a very muted rose, with tons of musk being the only thing that really comes through. The fragrance isn’t bad, but it doesn’t match its price tag. It hurts my feelings because my husband made it with such love, yet wearing it makes me feel invisible, gray, boring, just another face in the crowd. No one has complimented me; I think they don’t even smell it. The longevity is poor, and the sillage lasts an hour before it disappears onto the skin. I wouldn’t recommend it, except maybe for a funeral or the hospital, where it’s clean and invisible to the nose 🫠

  I love it, though I wish it cost less. It smells like that clean floral with a soapy touch—so easy to wear and versatile. But there are always cheaper options that are just as good or even better.

  It starts super citrusy and sweetly floral. Once it dries (around 30 minutes), it smells just like my Dolce Melody, but this one is way better.
