Master perfumer Carlos Benaim leaves his mark of quality on all his fragrances, whether designer or celebrity scents. Take this one as proof: delicious, sweet, and very feminine. It smells luxurious, has great longevity, and a 10-foot sillage, making it perfect for autumn and winter. I’m thrilled to have it in my collection and highly recommend it if you love sweet floral aromas.

I would have loved for it to smell like marshmallow and incense, but unfortunately on my skin it smells only of amber, just as Fragrantica indicates in its main accords. I found it a new home where it’s appreciated. It’s strong and very long-lasting for a celebrity fragrance.

Elegant and very feminine. It lasts 4 hours on my skin; for the price, it’s great, and I feel it’s one of those fragrances ideal for gifting (to women over 25). Update: I like it more and more every day; it smells very refined and romantic.

M by Mariah Carey (2007): I was lucky enough to try the early versions of this sweet yet not cloying, very sensual fragrance. The dry-down is super feminine; I’m not sure if the incense base gives it a smoky touch or something like smoked cream and caramelized milk—the sensation is unique. The amber note adds warmth, and it becomes more elegant in the dry-down. I love this composition and the bottle, which is very original, reflecting the singer’s passion for butterflies.

It doesn’t taste cloying to me at all; I perceive it as very sensual, with a very feminine dry-down. I’m not sure if the incense base gives it a smoky touch or something like smoked cream or caramelized milk; I just can’t quite put the sensation I get into words. The amber note adds warmth, and it’s in the dry-down that it becomes more elegant. I really love this composition and the very original bottle, reflecting the singer’s passion for butterflies.

It has an incredible evolution on my skin, changing several times in the first hour; the scent that remains after an hour is fascinating, sweet, and powdery. I think if Nina Ricci or any other house had released it, it would have gotten more recognition. Longevity on skin is 4 hours at full performance, then another 2 hours close to the skin. On clothes, it lasts until you wash them. The trail is huge: for the first few hours, people can smell it from all around within 3 meters 🙂 I’m considering buying a backup bottle (this is the first time this has ever happened to me with a perfume).

It’s delicious, with all its notes blending harmoniously to create an exquisite fragrance. The candy notes stand out, while the incense balances it so it’s not overly sweet. The trail is enormous, the longevity is excellent, and the price is quite accessible for what it is—it doesn’t ask for anything a designer or niche brand would charge.

Ultra-feminine, elegant, and mysterious. The incense stands out, but it doesn’t feel heavy because the tiare and patchouli soften it, creating a delightful vanilla-sweetness. Better for winter, but it doesn’t clash in the heat. The price is very affordable. The bottle is cute with its oval shape and butterfly cap. The purple is attractive. The glass is basic, but you can’t ask for more at this price. I’d love a limited edition in quality crystal, keeping the purple and a finer butterfly detail.

I read a lot about how sweet it is, so I bought it without trying (I’m a lover of vanilla and caramel notes). I liked it, even though it wasn’t quite what I expected. Maybe the incense hits me a bit too strongly at first, but it doesn’t bother me.

At first, it smells sweet, delicious, and long-lasting. It has good longevity; it’s better in winter because in summer it can be a bit overwhelming. It lasts up to five hours, and the quality-to-price ratio is good. I recommend it to those who like floral scents.
