At first, I thought it was a feminine and too-sweet perfume for me, but after letting it evolve at home, the blend of vanilla, pink pepper, and woods made me run back to the store. It’s a fragrance with that special ‘something’ that makes us feel unique, superior quality, and full of character. It captivated me and I’ll keep it forever.
I have the extrait and I just say ‘WOW’. It’s exquisite and of supreme quality. It reminds me of ‘By the Fireplace’ but without being cloying; it’s cozy. Top notes of cardamom and a vanilla balsam that smells like horchata, followed by a spectacular vanilla. The trail and longevity are excellent, lasting up to 10 hours. Highly recommended, especially if you like the perfumer behind ‘By the Fireplace’.
I own the extract and I just say: wow, exquisite fragrance of supreme quality. It reminds me of By The Fireplace, but it’s not cloyingly sweet; it’s pleasant and cozy. The opening features cardamomo with a vanilla balsam that smells like horchata. Gradually, an exquisite, cozy, and spectacular vanilla takes over—one of the best I’ve tried. The trail and longevity are excellent, lasting 8-10 hours without issues. Highly recommended; interestingly, it’s by the same perfumer as By The Fireplace, which I already mentioned it reminds me of.
To me, it’s a work of art. What an incredible incense-spiced vanilla. As soon as I sprayed the sample, my head spun and I thought: I’m going to go bankrupt. I bought it immediately. I also grabbed a sample of a darker extract; in the extract, the incense note dominates over the vanilla, whereas in the regular perfume, both notes are balanced. I prefer the regular version.
I found it while wandering, and the name caught my eye since I’m a cat lover. Seeing the notes, I thought: if I find it, I have to own it. To others, it smells like burnt rubber, but to me, it’s like vanilla by a wood-burning fireplace. It opens minty, spicy, and wild. Then the dark vanilla becomes elegant and smoky with the woods. In dry down, it’s a sweet balsamic with musk. It’s delicious, complex, and dark—choose who wears it like cats choose their owners. Totally unisex and mature. The trail is noticeable and longevity is moderate. It’s not my favorite vanilla; nothing beats my love for Spiritueuse Double Vanille, but this is up there. Would I buy it? Maybe; it feels mature and pricey, so I’d rather try some cheaper options first. If simple vanilla doesn’t excite you, give this a shot. I bought the sample at Niche Perfumes. Ideal for lovers of smoky, sensual vanillas.
I found it while wandering and the name caught my eye because of my love for cats. To others, it smells like burnt rubber, but to me, it’s like standing with a vanilla wand in front of a wood-burning fireplace: mentholated, spicy, and wild at first, then dark, smoky vanilla with balsamic woods. It’s complex, dark, and unisex, just like the cats that choose their owners. It’s not my favorite vanilla, but one of the best. Maybe I won’t buy it due to the price, but if you’re looking for smoky, sensual vanillas, this is for you.
Lune Féline is a total wow. It’s versatile and modern, smelling like leather jacket and rebellion. It opens spicy with cardamomo and a balanced pink pepper. It’s sexy thanks to the animalic ambergris and sweet, smoky woods, without being too masculine. In dry down, it has the most wonderful vanilla I’ve ever tried—zero synthetic notes, with a creamy balsam that leaves me speechless. Not something to buy blind; better to test first. I’m obsessed; I bought a sample first, then the bottle for home. The scent and longevity are perfect.
Lune Féline by Atelier des Ors is a total ‘wow’. It’s a shifting, modern perfume with the air of freedom and magnetism of someone in a leather jacket with a rebellious smile. Spicy opening with cardamom and a balanced pink pepper. It’s sexy thanks to the animalic ambergris and sweet, smoky woods. Dry down features the most wonderful vanilla I’ve ever tried, zero synthetic, with a creamy balsam that leaves me speechless. Don’t buy blindly, try a sample first. I’m obsessed.
It’s a great fragrance with that animal touch that makes it unique and a simply spectacular vanilla.
Nice fragrance with an animalic touch that makes it unique; the vanilla is simply spectacular.
Lune Feline has a hint of By the Fireplace, but it carries noticeable balsamic and aromatic notes. You can also tell something animal about it (hence the name Feline, I guess), which By the Fireplace doesn’t have. In the dry-down, it’s more similar… but it’s just a touch. Lune Feline has its own personality.
I didn’t like it 🙁 It feels like a very potent balsamic scent, hence the feline vibe. It reminds me of genuine leather, that strong animal smell that for me just smells like… well, poop. Not for me.
I didn’t like it 🙁 It smells like super potent balsam, which is why it’s called feline. The perfume reminds me of a real leather wallet; anyone who’s owned one knows the smell of genuine leather is strong, animalistic—I call it poop smell (butt*s*).
I stumbled upon a video by an Italian creator two years ago that I can’t find anymore, but those bottles really caught my eye. I didn’t remember the brand until now—it’s Ateliers Des Ors. I decided to try them and ordered LUNE FELINE and ROUGE SARAY. We’re entering dark territory here; they’re so weird🤣. I smelled both, and they take me to incense, something more Arab or Oriental than French, which is where I think the name comes from. I didn’t expect that: with Lune Feline, I first smell mint, but it’s NOT cardamom. I said, ‘Oh, okay’ (sorry, what cool🙆🏼), and then it reminds me of an ointment, like Hepatolgin—a medical scent, sharp, strong, concentrated, and penetrating. If you’re sick, I’d feel it helps, but if you’re healthy, it’s just a lot of information, dude.
I smell two notes not listed on the description: cloves and iris… anyone else get that?
It turned out too balsamic and very masculine for me, so I ended up not buying it.
At first glance, this smells to me like an inflatable mattress when you’re camping. Then, as it dries, the vanilla comes out more and it becomes rounder. For me, it’s completely in the line of Rosendo Mateu n5 and Babycat with that characteristic burnt rubber note alongside the vanilla. I don’t have them side-by-side, but they definitely came to mind.
A huge hit and I can’t imagine extracting anything better. My partner loves it. The vanilla is authentic, not bakery-style or overly sweet; it’s elegant and the cardamom feels great. The amber and balsamic notes are 10/10. I like it a lot. In summary: elegant ambered vanilla.
At first, Lune Feline is a spiced vanilla with a spectacular cardamom, slightly smoky and with herbal aspects. I’d dare say I smell angelica. As it dries down, it feels more balsamic, but it doesn’t become a heavy or excessively sweet perfume; it’s not a bakery vanilla. I also perceive an animalic aspect, but it’s extremely subtle and I don’t think it bothers anyone, although it does give it a distinctive personality. For me, the downside is that on my skin, after the first hour where it shines brightly, it has a soft sillage and a longevity of only 5-6 hours. It vaguely reminds me of Byredo’s Vanille Antique, which however lacks the green aspects and is much more potent, which adds to the fact that I like it more. The perfume it doesn’t remind me of is By The Fireplace, much smokier than Lune Feline to my nose. It’s a nice vanilla, but personally I wouldn’t buy the full bottle. Scent 7/10, Longevity 5.5/10, Sillage 5.5/10, Value/Quality 4.5/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy again? No, I didn’t buy it.
It’s an exquisite fragrance. On my skin, I really feel the cardamom and cinnamon, a note of incense, and a woody dry down. But unfortunately, the slightly smoky opening dries out too smoky on my skin, overshadowing the spiciness which is what I appreciate most. It is undoubtedly high quality, with very natural and bright notes, but in my case, all this is overshadowed by the strong and prolonged smoky scent.
Cardamom and smoky vanilla, not gourmand. Elegant and feminine, but bordering on unisex. Exceptional longevity; it smells on clothes for days.
Cat Moon? What a peculiar name. I’ve never seen my kitten look at the moon; she always looks at me at the slightest noise, as if waiting for a magic treat. Upon spraying, a dark, tropical vanilla appears on my skin, deeply mature, warm, thick, and wonderful, not caring who it lets pass. It has a very marked animalic touch in the first 15-20 minutes that fades in intensity but remains, present for a good while. The spicy note is probably a mix of pink pepper and cardamom, which I can’t isolate well, along with incense that makes the aroma an airy, fluffy whirlwind. The vanilla becomes more intense, but the animalic touch keeps everything in check, preventing it from being extremely sweet and revealing a hidden side. A spectacular and unusual idea, interesting like the vanilla in Shalimar with animalic notes. It creates a dual appeal between masculine and feminine, playful and unpredictable, like a cat. A virtualism where something dark yet tranquil envelops you elegantly, invigorating, tender, and cozy. I like it a lot; it’s high quality and has a unique character. I think it’s unisex enough for the right guy, especially on cold or cool days, a fragrance that seems like a radiant, protective bubble, elegant and sexy.
SPECTACULAR! I can’t start any other way… what a fragrance showstopper! For lovers of dark vanilla, take note: you can’t miss this. Spicy opening but dark from the very first minute, balsamic, dense, mysterious, and very captivating, slightly spicy from the pepper. Then come some sticky resins that don’t stand out much in the blend, and finally the undisputed queen: a dark, smoky vanilla thanks to Peru balsam, giving it a subtle mysterious sweetness. It’s a true marvel! I need to wear it more to comment on its performance, but it’s already heading straight to my Top 10.
One of my best blind buys to date. Dark, spiced vanilla with an exquisite cardamom-cinnamon blend, smoky and resinous. It’s sweet, but not a typical gourmand vanilla. Although it says it has green vanilla, I don’t detect that. It has a soft animalic touch that gives it body without being dirty like others, such as Absolute Aphrodisiac. There’s more warmth and spice here. Totally unisex. Perfect for autumn-winter and open-air settings because it’s potent and noticeable even with a light spray. Very sexy and seductive. Longevity exceeds 10 hours with wide projection and sillage at the start, then moderate-to-wide throughout the dry down. I adore it.
One of my best blind buys. Dark, spicy vanilla with an exquisite cardamom-cinnamon combination, smoky and resinous. While it has a soft animal character that gives it body, it’s not as ‘dirty’ as other gourmand vanillas; there’s more warmth and spice here. Totally unisex, ideal for fall-winter and open spaces because it’s potent and seductive. Longevity exceeds 10 hours with a wide projection at the start. I adore it.
A perfume where vanilla and cardamom take center stage. Ideal for cool weather, nighttime, or cloudy days for that dark aura. Great longevity and aromatic quality.
What an exquisite fragrance! It feels super elegant and feminine, nothing unisex. It has a distinct, delicate vanilla. I love it. It doesn’t resemble By the Fireplace or Babycat (which is my favorite) at all.
