On the Fragrance World website, Fierte is listed as a men’s fragrance with very different notes (citrus, oud, amber, vetiver) and claims it’s inspired by YSL M7 Oud Absolu, which has nothing to do with what’s being advertised here.
A fragrance with a curious composition. On my skin, maybe there wasn’t a great match; to me it smells like palo santo, vanilla, and cinnamon. My partner thought it was sweet, but it gives me a headache and makes me want to vomit. What a shame, because I had high expectations and the bottle is gorgeous.
This Fierte is a bomb. It reminds me of Rifaaqat but much more refined, without that aggressive opening. We’ll see how the performance holds up over time, but if you catch it on sale, it’s clearly superior. French Avenue has done an incredible job with this line; I already own Fierte Luna, and it’s the best Naxos-inspired fragrance I’ve tried.
I just picked up Riffaqat from Paris Corner for 20€ in my city, and it lasted forever—I absolutely love the scent. I’m planning to buy four more bottles in case they disappear, and I also want to try Fierte by French Avenue since everyone says it’s better. If I like it, I’ll grab several. Plus, with 100€ I could spend 300€ on Babycat, so two Fiertes are basically a luxury, haha.
