It’s a pure chypre. It smells much better once it oxidizes. Perfect for daytime wear.

Edit: I fell in love with it in the store because I’m a fan of citrus and white florals; even though I usually dislike woods, this ‘springtime grove’ won me over. The issue is that the wood overwhelms the other notes, but if I layer a citrus on top, it works perfectly. It didn’t fully convince me at first, but I’ve been getting compliments. It’s super versatile: office, autumn dinner, communion… After two months, it lasts 8 hours on skin and days on clothes.

Updating my review: I loved it at the store because I’m a fan of citrus with white flowers. Although I’m not a fan of woods, that ‘spring forest’ scent won me over. My only gripe is that the wood slightly mutes the citrus and floral notes, but I solve that by layering another citrus over it. Even though it didn’t fully convince me at first, I’ve received many compliments. It’s versatile: great for the office, an autumn dinner, or a communion. After 2 months of maturation, it lasts 8 hours on skin and days on clothes.

Rich aroma, citrus opening that smells like green apple to me (it’s not listed in the notes, just my impression) and quickly transitions to a woody floral that lingers for hours. On skin it’s continuous, and on clothes it lasts several days, releasing bursts with movement. It’s for everyday wear, hard to offend anyone, and worth it for the price.

Rich aroma with a citrus opening. To me, it smells a bit like green apple (not listed, just my impression) and quickly transitions to a woody floral scent that lasts hours, noticeable on skin and in sudden bursts with movement or a breeze. It lasts several days on clothes. Perfect for daily wear, rarely annoying, and totally worth it for the price.

I tested 2 sprays on my arm: fruity and citrusy opening, but within minutes it shifts to a soft woody floral scent. It’s mainly feminine, though the woody notes with spicy touches make it unisex. The scent is so pleasant I wouldn’t mind wearing it more. Longevity is great; it feels strong for hours, projecting without being overwhelming. Lasted 8 hours on skin and faded by 11. The sillage is moderate for 2-3 hours, then stays close to the skin. Excellent option for the price ($12 in my country).

Honestly, I loved the scent, very pretty though nothing extraordinary. The extraordinary part is the bottle, absolutely beautiful. I perceive the scent as very floral and romantic; I wouldn’t recommend it for young people, I think it’s for 30+, but it depends on the person. I use it in summer, but I have a feeling it’s more of a spring scent. I’d say it lasts about 6 hours. Great value for the price.

At first I didn’t like it, but I kept testing it and was surprised by its evolution; once it dries down, I smell honey.

This perfume disappointed me with the scent… too strong for me. It’s a citrus woody very similar to L’Interdit but a bit more mature. I recommend testing it before buying. Gourmandlovers, this isn’t for you. On the other hand, the bottle! Oh my god! It’s divine.

For me, it’s a summer perfume, for everyday wear that usually pleases others more than it does me. Good quality-to-price ratio. It doesn’t remind me of anything specific.

The packaging is spectacular. Incredible cost-to-quality ratio, very affordable and the quality is amazing compared to more expensive perfumes.
