I first tried Love by Diane thanks to a friend who gifted it to me along with other perfumes from the brand in the middle of winter. Where I live, I couldn’t find the brand, but with this one, I received plenty of compliments. Personally, I don’t dislike it, but sometimes it overwhelms me. It’s a gourmand scent, smelling like candies and caramel—very sweet at first with a light touch of jasmine, nothing tacky. It lasts all day, at least 8 hours. It softens over time, revealing the caramel and candy notes. As I said, I don’t hate it, but on some days it saturated me and gave me a headache, maybe I overapplied it. The fragrance is lovely, like a dessert for anyone who enjoys this style. My friend who lives in the US mentioned it’s quite affordable. I think it’s more suitable for cold weather.
