I tried Ajmal’s Enigma For Him and, while it’s decent, it didn’t blow me away. It starts with a citrus blast that lasts a breath—like lemon or orange juice that evaporates instantly. Then comes a weird scent; Fragrantica says it’s cardamom, but I honestly can’t tell what it smells like. It seems like there’s pepper or something spicy mixed with lavender, giving it a warm spicy flow that never quite gels. It ends up in no man’s land: not very fresh, not very deep. In the end, it smells like amber and moss, which is fine but doesn’t stir any passions. It lasts decently and projects poorly… It’s like that nice guy who’s good-hearted but doesn’t stand out in any way. My vote: 6.5/10. It has its place for daily wear, but it lacks character, doesn’t charm, and doesn’t leave a lasting impression. It’s not bad, but there are 100 better perfumes for the same price.
