It’s pure 1950s style: that sweet, delicate, refined girl, like an aristocratic or middle-class teenager chasing her first love, in full-skirted dresses and beautiful hairstyles. Imagine Debbie Reynolds singing Tammy from her window with this scent. How does it smell? It’s an intense, romantic, talcum-powdered, slightly soapy floral reminiscent of Diorissimo, Amour Amour by Patou, or Muguet des Bois by Coty. It smells very similar to those classics. It’s a gorgeous floral that I’m thrilled to have in my collection. Although it’s quite different from L’Interdit in composition, conceptually both are talcum-powdered, soapy, soft florals. This review is about the original vintage fragrance, not the reformulation.
