Descripción
Lamar by Kajal is an oriental floral fragrance created for men and women. Launched in 2020, its composition was designed by perfumer Mark Buxton. The top notes unfold a tropical and exotic freshness with pineapple, red berries, apple, cardamom, and coriander. The heart of the fragrance reveals a delicate and sensual bloom thanks to Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, magnolia, and sambac jasmine. Finally, the base notes land on a warm and enveloping accord formed by musk, vanilla, amber, cashmere wood, cedar, and moss.

It’s a Baccarat Rouge without saffron, mixed with pure grass. Half an hour on skin, it becomes hyper-sweet, cloying, syrupy, and intrusive. I had to take it off. I can’t stand it. If you like Burberry Her Intense, this would be its niche version. Luckily it was a gift…
Excellent fragrance with huge sillage and extreme longevity. Since it’s so potent, you have to apply it carefully so as not to overwhelm. It’s a fruity floral where pineapple dominates at first, but over time it becomes subtler alongside the roses and musk. The base of cashmere, moss, and cedar gives it a beautiful, elegant oriental tint. Wonderful combination, a great perfume. Absolutely worth it
For those saying it’s a BR540, honestly, I don’t find them similar at all. This opens with sweet, juicy pineapple combined with talc-dusted roses, simply delicious. I find it very versatile for different seasons and worth the price. Just keep in mind it’s unisex, but leans more feminine due to the roses
My signature scent. It’s unique, mysterious, spicy, extremely oriental, woody, with woods, fruit, and a ripe flower—not the typical old rose. It has a lot of darkness and mature sweetness, smells like something that turns heads and generates compliments. An aura that commands respect, sexy but not childish, with a nocturnal, wise, and experienced character. ^^ Best ever. Edit: I was stunned to see a comparison with BRouge540 here, is my nose okay?
What I notice most is the pineapple mixed exquisitely with everything. The freshness of the pineapple is dangerously seductive. It changes on my skin and gives me different sensations. It has oriental and exotic touches. It’s seductive, perfect for my mysterious nighttime vibe. An exquisite alchemy to make yourself noticed
Every nose is different, but be careful, don’t go overboard lol. Lamar has nothing to do with BR540. Lamar is fresh with a pleasant musk, while BR540 is sweet, heavy, smells like burnt caramel, and even like blood to me. There’s no comparison. I see Lamar as more like a mix of Aventus and Atomic Rose; I recognize the pineapple and rose from the originals. I bought it blind and I absolutely love it
I hated it. It clings to my skin and gives me a headache. It has bean, amber, and musk, but out of the three, the bean is what bothers me the most. They hyped it up so much that I wanted it, but now I really regret it 😩😫
I didn’t like it; it smells like barbecue. I own Dahab, Lamar, and Almaz, and this is the one that sticks to me and gives me a headache. They hyped it up so much I wanted to own it, but now I really regret it 😩😫.
I bought Almaz and it comes with a small 3ml vial of Lamar. I’d say it’s my least favorite. The pineapple is the most prominent note, but I don’t know why it doesn’t feel fresh to me. It has a lot of body and feels inclined toward masculine. But I won’t deny it’s delicious, a real work of art. As for longevity? BEASTLY. As a note, it doesn’t resemble Baccarat, Delina, or Almaz at all. Don’t fall for it, lol
The scent is persistent, too much for me, with a rose that loses strength against the pineapple and base notes. It lasts forever, almost giving me a headache because it doesn’t evolve. I bought a decant because it’s pricey; it’s not bad, but don’t buy it blindly.
All I can say is that it’s a persistent scent, too much for my taste, where the rose stands out, though not its most beautiful facet, because it gets a bit overshadowed by the pineapple and base notes. That said, it lasts enormously and almost exploded my head because the scent doesn’t evolve much and I perceive it all the time. Fortunately, I bought a decant because it’s expensive. It’s not of poor quality; on the contrary, but it is one of those scents not suitable for blind buys.
I bought 5 ml and it smells a lot like fresh grilled pineapple. I liked it a lot; it dries down to a super elegant scent, but at first it smells almost like body spray. It’s not for work; it has a lot of sillage. The second time I wore it, someone commented: ‘Did you bring a fresh perfume today, right?’, implying they liked it. I suppose with the heat in my city, a perfume that smells like elegant pineapple is appreciated. It feels very feminine and sexy, but I don’t see it for winter or cold days; it’s very tropical.
I bought 5ml and it smells a lot of fresh grilled pineapple. I liked it a lot; it has a super elegant dry down, but initially it smells almost like a body spray. It’s not for work; it has huge sillage. The second time I wore it, someone told me, ‘Did you bring a fresh perfume today, right?’, implying they liked it. With the high temperatures in my city, a perfume that smells like elegant pineapple is a relief. It feels very feminine and sexy, but I don’t see it for winter or cold days; it’s very tropical.
What a surprise… a different but very pleasant rose. I find a fruity and sweet first phase with pineapple as the protagonist, leading to a floral middle that’s creamier than powdery on my skin, and finally dries down to a musky-amberous phase that’s mature, dark, and incredibly sexy. It has tropical vibes but is also very oriental at the same time. It’s sweet yet fresh. Opulent, attention-grabbing, but versatile. Similar to others but unique. A real delicacy. Although it’s categorized as unisex, I see it as much more feminine. As for performance, few match it. And the bottle? A jewel for your vanity. If you’re looking for a rose scent far from the classic, something sexy and playful… this is it. Give it a try.
At first, the pineapple and red fruits are very noticeable with a spicy touch. Then it becomes more powdery, and the sweet pineapple remains, not fresh; the rose is also very prominent. At this stage, I didn’t like it because it became too sweet for my taste; I prefer something fresher and younger. For me, it’s very sweet and cloying, even giving me a headache. I must highlight its great sillage and longevity. I’ll definitely stick with Dahab.
I bought a sample because the YouTube hype really caught my attention; I already own Dahab, which is a gem. To the point: the opening doesn’t like it for me at all—it’s too strong and harsh—but I admit it’s starting to grow on me as it settles. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it someday; I’ll keep testing it. The truth is, I do like it over time, but I also note I’ve applied very little because this perfume goes a long way.
Where do they get the idea that it’s similar to Baccarat? Not even close. Lamar is a nuclear bomb with that sweet, ripe pineapple that lasts and lasts. One of my favorite perfumes for its elegance and sweetness.
What the hell are they talking about when they say it smells like Bacarat? Not even close. Lamar is a nuclear bomb of ripe, sweet pineapple that follows you all day. One of my favorites for that elegant sweetness.
I’m testing a decant and have received lots of praise. The scent is very rich and elegant; I absolutely love it.
I love Lamar. It’s a sweet, very ripe pineapple mixed with a touch of Baccarat Rouge, and when it dries down, it picks up the rose from Atomic Rose. My only issue is I don’t feel the ‘beastmode’ everyone talks about. Maybe it’s the decant or olfactory fatigue. In my opinion, it’s unisex with a feminine lean and works all year (might be too heavy in extreme heat). The bottle is pure luxury and the perfume is high quality. Not a safe blind buy. Ciaoooo
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I found it just like Delina Exclusif at first and very similar to BCR540 as it dried down. Undoubtedly it’s a beautiful perfume, but nothing I haven’t smelled before. Still, I like it 🤩
I have the 5ml sample that came with Almaz. It smells good, but it’s a very repetitive scent; when it dries down, it’s somewhat similar to BR540 but fresher. I wouldn’t buy it since I already own Mancera IC, which has many similarities. I see it as unisex for all seasons; it’s a good perfume.
When I read it’s fresh…, it doesn’t seem like they’re talking about what I smelled. Excessively strong, it smells like a heavy men’s cologne to me, it was unbearable and I had a hard time getting it off my skin, so the longevity is beastly. I felt like smelling something dirty, so potent it was annoying. It’s just everyone’s olfactory perception…
Reviews say it’s fresh, but it doesn’t smell like that. It’s excessively strong, smells like a tough guy cologne, it was unbearable on me and took forever to get off my skin. Longevity is beastly. It gave me a dirty feeling because it’s so potent and annoying; everyone perceives it differently.
People saying it’s similar to BR540 are way off. The original is a whole different show, nothing like its dupes. I highly recommend Lamar by Kayal for cool climates, it’s a perfume bomb 👌
Lamar is crazy, I’ve smelled more niche perfumes and none come close to Lamar. That sharp pineapple scent followed by roses and musk and amber notes is a complete delight. Go ahead and try it without fear, heartily recommended and spectacular.
A real beast of a perfume… you can tell the quality… it smells refined… the fruity scent is rich because it’s a quality smell… It lasts and projects like it should… if you’re looking for a fruity perfume that smells like 5-star quality, here it is, Lamar…
It’s a monolith… smells like high-quality fine fruit. Projection and longevity are top-notch, as expected. If you’re looking for a fruity scent that feels expensive, here it is: Lamar. 5 stars.
A fragrance delight! Not much to add, even though it’s a niche scent, it’s easy and pleasant for everyone. Addictive until you can’t take it anymore 😍😍😍😍
What a rich perfume, amazing trail. At first, it smells like sweet, tender rose, then gives way to an exquisite mix of pineapple and red berries. I’ve loved it, it has a tropical touch but very elegant. Truly excellent, you can tell the quality.
Mixed feelings. It opens with a juicy, slightly tart fruity explosion of pineapple and blueberries. Then the floral side comes out with velvety roses, sounds delicious. But the pineapple on my skin isn’t always a win: on mild days it’s amazing, but in cold or intense heat it turns into tepache and I can’t handle it. There’s nothing wrong with the perfume itself, it’s just my skin chemistry. Performance is good, lasts the workday, intense for the first 2 hours then drops to skin-level after 6. On clothes, it’s a different story, it stays impregnated for days. I’m torn between keeping it or letting it go, I like it but I’m not sure if it’s worth it to use it just a couple of times a year :/
Incredible scent, I love it! A burst of juicy pineapple with red berries, rose, and jasmine in the background. I can’t wait to separate the notes: it’s a mood-boosting, party-ready fragrance. Super cheerful and vital, it lifts your day. Wow! Longevity and sillage are very respectable.
Absolute beast of a perfume! A fruity cocktail with an earthy moss base that makes it elegant yet youthful. Super versatile and delicate, perfect for any occasion. 100% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️
