Kresala, which in Basque means saltpeter or sea air, is that marine fragrance Santi Burgas created for Urbieta in San Sebastián (he already has several for them). The easiest way to describe it is like a niche version of Bvlgari Aqva, but without that seaweed note that some people find repulsive; here it feels more refined, balanced, and of higher quality. It has a very strong citrus and marine opening, with a woody and musky base that emerges gradually and softens it significantly. That blend of citrus-marine with a clean woody-musky base makes it rounder and more enjoyable. It lasts over 8 hours without issues, projects well at first but is more of a personal aura scent, which I think is great because otherwise, with this ‘blue’ aroma, it could be overwhelming. Excellent quality and construction, signed by Santi Burgas and priced a bit above 120 euros. If you like ‘blue’ fragrances, highly recommended. See you later!
