I made a mistake buying it without testing first, but it’s a quality replica of Creed Aventus. It has that DNA, though it gets a bit boring and the longevity is short. Sometimes the market doesn’t deliver original scents, and the niche should offer more.
En Route smells good, and its notes are distinct without clashing, unlike some other fragrances from the house. It’s quality and pleasant, but the performance fails: it lasts about 5 hours on skin. If you want more, you have to spray your hair or use boosters, which changes the scent. It doesn’t project beyond the first hour. If you don’t mind, it’s good alongside Tramonte and Matin a Mogador. Always test on skin before buying.

En Route… smells like trees and nature, with the quality and sophistication of Botanicae. I love this Murcia-based brand: excellent quality at a commercial price. It arrived with a discovery set and two extra decants; the packaging was top-notch. Notes of vetiver, bergamot, leather, tobacco flower, spices, lavender, almonds, rum, and citrus. It’s intense and refreshing, evolving into tobacco and leather. It reminds me of Creed’s Silver Mountain Water (not Aventus, they’re different). It shares notes with Silver Mountain Water.
On the road… Before even trying it, I thought: what does the journey smell like? Trees, and that’s exactly what it smells like—green, nature—with magnificent quality and sophistication from Botanicae. I’m completely in love with this Murcian brand. It was a joy to discover a Spanish fragrance house offering excellent quality at a commercial price, nothing more. It arrived in a discovery set with two complimentary decants and gorgeous packaging. Notes of vetiver, bergamot, leather, tobacco flower, spices, lavender, almonds, rum, with hints of orange and lemon. The result is an intense, refreshing pine scent that evolves into tobacco flower and leather. It reminds me a lot of Creed’s Silver Mountain Water, just to clarify, it’s not Aventus; they’re very different. En Route shares the vetiver, bergamot, tobacco flower, lavender, orange, and lemon notes with Creed’s Silver Mountain Water.

This is the Botanicae version of Aventus: more citrusy and fresh, similar to Zara’s Noble Palo Santo (which is superior). It’s more balanced than Vibrant Leather. Wearing it is a pleasure; it feels high quality. The issue is longevity: about 6 hours max if you’re generous, and it barely projects past the first half-hour. It’s the only EDP from this house with this flaw. Along with Matin a Mogador, it’s the most masculine. If it works for you, it’s one of the best Aventus-style alternatives for quality/price.
