  One of the irises I’ve tried, sitting somewhere between Dior Homme and Givenchy Gentleman, with echoes of Prada’s Infusion d’Iris or Monegal’s Impossible Iris. It has a certain vibe to Dior’s Bois Sargento but without the incense. I loved it, but I already have similar scents (though none exactly like this), so it’s not for me. If you’re looking for an iris, this could be your pick: it’s sweet and balsamic, with myrrh and cinnamon present from the start. Lasts quite a while, though its performance is moderate; ideal for daily wear in cold weather. Scent: 9.5, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 9, Uniqueness: 7, Overall: 8.5

  Citrus and iris opening with a spicy cinnamon touch that gives it a fougère, vintage vibe. As it dries, the patchouli softens while the iris remains dominant—powdery, luminous, with balsamic notes reminiscent of oriental perfumery. I don’t see this as feminine; I picture it better on a man’s skin. For those who wear Dior Homme Intense, this is a more complex, masculine take. It has nothing to do with Prada’s Iris, my go-to for years. I had high expectations, and while I like it, I’m glad I didn’t buy it blind like I usually do with scents that have ‘iris’ in the name 😜
