Renier has been doing great things for a while, always trying to stand out, and with this perfume he takes a new risk again. It’s not for those just starting in the niche world, but it definitely offers something fresh. This fruity incense blend is the kind that makes you pause for a moment, and by the second sniff, you’re already hooked until you’re totally in love. In my opinion, the first thing you notice is that fruity top note paired with the base of incense and patchouli. It’s the perfect scent for cloudy autumn or winter days, or even chilly spring days. It really turns heads and has excellent projection, to the point where it fills the whole room the moment you apply it. Congratulations to Renier for daring to create new compositions.
It doesn’t smell like frankincense straight out of the bottle, though you can tell it’s there; the key is that it stays very subtle. What I get is a woody, creamy, and super attractive base with a perfectly dosed sweet touch. It’s seductive, with such a fine fruity balance that it mixes in a hint of dirt to hit that sensual sweet spot for everyone. I see it as unisex, though some might say it leans more feminine. It works for any season or time of day. It’s easy to wear but interesting, standing above commercial designer perfumes. Performance is standard and correct, but for my taste, it feels a bit short for daily use; maybe it’s just a matter of applying more since it’s not that expensive. Skin longevity is acceptable, but projection and sillage leave something to be desired.
