As mentioned above, it doesn’t last long on the skin (about 3 hours) and requires multiple sprays throughout the day, but it’s perfect for getting compliments at university (which happens to me often). If you’re looking for a scent that 90% of the people in your daily life will like, Ferrari Black is your perfume.
While my favorite from the house is Ferrari Red (which isn’t in this database), I’ve tried Black alternately with mixed results. It’s not for hot weather; in warm climates, it can feel heavy and bothersome indoors. It’s youthful, sometimes leaning more chypre than fougère. The scent is pleasant. The notes I notice most are plum, red apple, cinnamon, jasmine, rose, and vanilla (all delicious on their own). Amber and musk make for a solid base. Overall, it’s very masculine, ideal for cold weather, and a delicious aroma you’ll love. I recommend it.
As ShiseidoTactics rightly pointed out, I used this years ago and it remains sophisticated despite its low price. I’d rank it among the best sports fragrances on the market; I absolutely love that leather note that comes through, even though it’s not in the official notes. It suits any age perfectly. 8/10.
I bought this perfume while on vacation in Paris in 2000. Out of all I tried that day, it was the one that caught my attention the most. It’s true that the longevity was scarce, but it was undoubtedly one of the fragrances I enjoyed the most. Today it’s almost ridiculously cheap and is a more than recommended option compared to other proposals that cost triple or more.
I love it, totally recommended. Out of ten women, nine are fascinated by it, and the tenth likes it. It’s very good, relatively affordable in Ecuador (around $45). Moderate trail and longevity. Sweet, woody, and fruity, perfect for any occasion. I recommend it for night out at informal gatherings with friends. A great budget option compared to Hugo Boss Bottled, it’s about 85% similar.
It’s a good fragrance; the downside is its low longevity, but for the price, it seems acceptable.
Nice, but the trail and longevity are bad. It’s not very special, though women love it and will compliment you; you just have to overuse the sprays. It’s more for teenagers, very sweet with a vanilla scent. Lasts 2 hours on my skin and the projection is skin-level. The only good thing is that it’s very cheap.
Rich, but its trail and longevity are really bad. It’s not very special, but women like it and you’ll get compliments; you just have to abuse the sprays. It’s more for teens, it’s sweet, and the vanilla is very noticeable. Lasts about 2 hours on my skin with very close projection. The only good thing is that it’s very cheap.
As mentioned before, it’s a fragrance that, despite its short longevity on the skin (approx. 3 hours) and the need for several sprays, is perfect for getting compliments at university (which is my case). If you’re looking for a smell that 90% of your daily life will enjoy, Ferrari Black is your perfume.
A great scent that women adore. Unfortunately, its trail and longevity are poor, but it’s not terrible; I think if you overapply a bit, it can last well. I recommend it because it’s available at a good price. Guaranteed compliments.
Smells great on women, but the trail and longevity are poor; if you apply it with a heavier hand, it lasts better. I recommend it because it’s cheap and does the job.
Smells almost identical to Paco Rabanne’s One Million. The difference is that in the dry-down you notice the apple and plum. Smells good, fresh, perfect for autumn or spring. Works just as well day or night, though I think there are better options for evening. Great for college, with your girlfriend, hitting on someone, parties, or hanging out with friends: informal but elegant. Women love it; it’s one of the best sporty options; looks perfect at the gym. Longevity is moderate, about 2 to 4 hours, but the trail in the first hour is noticeable from a meter away; afterward it stays close to the skin, which I didn’t like. For the price, bottle, and brand, it’s excellent, but the trail leaves something to be desired. 8/10, I like it 🙂
Often confused with Scuderia Black. It’s not sensual, but its fixation is huge and highlights the apple accord; it’s fresh and masculine. It improves a bit over time, though it smells dated at first. I’d use it to scent a pair of pants or a bag, but I’d never buy it again for personal use. Fixation: 8/10, Projection: 9/10, Masculinity: 4/10, Sensuality: 2/10, Overall Rating: 5/10.
Often confused with ‘Scuderia Black’. It’s not a sensual scent at all, but its longevity is huge. The apple accord really shines; it’s fresh and masculine. It improves a bit over time, though the opening is dated and unremarkable. I’d use it to scent a pair of pants or a bag. I’d never buy it for personal use. Ferrari Black (1999): a very sporty and fresh fragrance; reminds me a lot of Alfred Dunhill’s Desire for Men.
Red apple and vanilla dominate this Ferrari; it’s perfect for under-18s who want to project maturity. It’s sweet but pleasant, nothing heavy. It teaches you to control your sprays: more isn’t better, less isn’t either. Just the right amount to keep you company, depending on the weather. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’d gift it to a strong nephew starting a part-time job. It shows that physical and intangible presence is key. Cheers.
It smells very similar to Paco Rabanne’s ONE MILLION, but with a clearer freshness; Rabanne’s is warmer and more oriental. It’s a vanilla apple where cinnamon, amber, musk, and cardamom take the lead, while bergamot and lemon aren’t very noticeable. At the end, floral notes of rose and jasmine appear along with plum and cedar, all quite timidly. It’s very pleasant and delicious; I have to buy it.
Black Ferrari 1999 is more than a perfume; it’s an emblem of power and exclusivity that captures the brand’s fiery and innovative spirit. Launched at the start of the new millennium, it celebrates the speed, passion, and luxury of its elite cars. Upon opening, vibrant top notes of bergamot and lemon fuse with black pepper, evoking the adrenaline of the accelerator. On the skin, a heart of leather and cedar emerges, paying homage to the sophisticated and detailed interiors of their vehicles. Its trail is imposing and memorable, with exceptional longevity that leaves a lasting impression. It’s an olfactory tribute to excellence and innovation, ideal for those seeking to make a statement and leave a trail as unmistakable as Ferrari’s legacy. A luxury and power experience to live life with intensity.

It’s very pleasant, discreet but sufficient. It doesn’t last long for me, but it’s a great combination of vanilla and fruit; for the price, it’s a very good buy.
It’s very pleasant and achieves its goal with discretion; the scent doesn’t stand out unless you spray it about five times. It doesn’t last long, so you have to choose between longevity and subtlety. If you’re thinking of buying it, look at other options because there are better ones.
It’s quite similar to Hugo Boss Bottled EDT, sweet and fruity. I don’t like it for men; it sounds more feminine or just doesn’t work for me, but it smells good. Curiously, this type of scent projects a lot on my skin and makes me suffocate smelling myself all the time. Both this and Hugo Boss lasted forever and projected well with just two sprays on my forearm.
I was gifted this. I like the opening, but I detect a rose note that reminds me of Moschino Toy Boy (which I absolutely hate); luckily, it’s not very prominent, but I wouldn’t buy it.
It’s sweet but not cloying. I love wearing it in the afternoon to go out; even though the projection is low, it helps avoid bothering people, especially in enclosed spaces.
Smells too synthetic, almost like plastic. That said, it lasts forever, though it doesn’t project much. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re an older person.

It smells just like Rexona V8, but this one is way better: it’s rich, fruity, sporty, and woody.
Although it feels a bit synthetic, the scent isn’t bad at all; it’s perfect for everyday wear.
