  • Finally, they put it in the base! I’ve been waiting a year and a half for this. It’s one of my favorites; I always pack it for travel alongside Jimmy Choo EDP, Essencial Exclusivo, Magnolia Sensuel, and Chance Tendre EDT… I bought it right when it launched (I think July ’17 in Argentina) because it felt like a really unique proposition. It blends its notes perfectly without losing the clarity of the chords: a fruity opening with acidic touches (it has some relation to Jabuticaba, but Viver is more complex, more of a true perfume, less of a cologne); then fresh flowers appear to soften that acidic effect; both accords are accompanied by woods that smell like the cap color, too warm to be gold… It stays fresh and juicy all the time, yet it’s super neat, versatile, vivid, comfortable, and long-lasting. I hadn’t smelled anything like this before. Later I discovered Nina Ricci’s Bella—extremely similar! And let’s say that Natura’s version is older, so it can’t be a copy/inspiration… I even think Viver is better harmonized; Ricci is quite more acidic and dissonant… Here’s how Natura describes it: Top of red fruits with grapefruit and currants. Heart of main freesia, along with rose, raspberry, and jasmine. Base of vanilla, cedar, and musk.

  • This fragrance is fresh, opens with sweet grapefruit, then I think magnolia joins in, closing with woody and slightly vanilla notes. It has a very noticeable resemblance to Nina Ricci’s Bella, especially in the opening. Then it becomes more woody and changes a bit. It smells super good, I like it. But on my skin, it doesn’t last long, and its sillage is soft. It’s original and different. I like it.

From a sample, I perceived: very citrusy, very sharp, not at all to my liking. Those who love sparkly scents will enjoy it.

  • Feminine, citrusy, fresh, floral, and slightly vanilla and woody as it develops… On my skin, it lasts about 7 hours, and I enjoy the dry-down more because at first, its acidity hits hard and tickles the nose. After an hour, it becomes more floral, and its finish is what I like most: vanilla and woods that gently wrap around white flowers 💐 An 8/10 😊 I deduct points because as soon as I apply it, I have to wait for the citrus to settle to truly enjoy it.

  • Feminine, citrusy, fresh, floral, and slightly vanilla-woody as it develops… On my skin, it lasts about 7 hours, and the final performance is what I enjoy the most, since at first it hits a bit hard with its acidity and tickles the nose… After an hour, it becomes more floral, and the dry down is my favorite: vanilla and woods that wrap around soft white flowers 💐 An 8/10 😊 The points I’m deducting are because right after I apply it, I just wait for the citrus punch to settle so I can truly enjoy it.

  • I bought it again and didn’t smell it the same way anymore… This batch is much more citrusy and the woody base is less noticeable. What a pity about this change because it feels ‘more common.’ This bottle doesn’t resemble the Bella much (except for the rhubarb note, which the Viver lacks). I was going to list it for sale because I didn’t feel like using it, but in a moment of boldness, I added a few drops of Just… patchouli oil. We’ll see what happens… I’ll update in a few days.

  • Ilía Viver is a beauty, sweet and feminine, wearable, a total hit. A bit fresh, a bit floral, and a bit sweet, extremely versatile, good price, and average longevity. Soft sillage, no risk in blind buys, perfect for any age, climate, or season; it goes with everything. Who will like it: lovers of a single perfume for the whole year.

  • It’s a feminine, very soft, and slightly sweet perfume. It starts with a grapefruit, a slightly citrusy opening, then freesia comes through, and it finishes with a vanilla note. It’s for a ‘good girl,’ full of innocence; the scent is lovely and the bottle is as beautiful as the Ilía Natura ones. I find it very versatile.

  • Super feminine and soft aroma with a sweet touch. Starts with grapefruit, then freesia notes, and finishes vanilla-like. Ideal for a ‘good girl,’ it conveys innocence. The bottle is gorgeous, just as pretty as Ilía Natura’s. Very versatile.

  • I think it’s a sweet perfume, like a ‘rich girl’ scent. You can detect red berries with a tart twist and little flowers crowning those notes. In the end, it feels powdery, clean, and slightly acidic. It’s casual but with character, quite uncommon. I don’t detect any vanilla at all. 🙁 It’s flowers, fruits, a bit tart, and that feeling of being fresh.

  • Gentle perfume, ‘rich girl’ style. Notes of acidic red fruits with flowers on top. In the end, it leaves a powdery, clean, and slightly acidic trail. It’s casual but with character, uncommon. I don’t detect vanilla. Flowers, fruits, acidity, and a fresh sensation.

  • Ilía Viver. I wasn’t planning to buy it; I had my sights set on another from the catalog, but my friend convinced me to try it. Oh! Why bother? I fell in love. So much so that I bought it again. I smelled a bit of citrus but mostly a strong freesia vibe. How gorgeous! What a shame they discontinued it 😔

  • Excellent performance for the price. Perfect for daily use, work, or exercise; works in summer and winter. Soft and rich, it doesn’t offend anyone. It lacks a bit of personality and doesn’t make me fall in love, but it’s ideal for daytime and for gifting. On my skin, it lasts 3-4 hours, and longer on clothes. If you’re looking for daily wear, give it a try.

  • I love its performance for the price. Perfect for everyday wear, work, or the gym, in summer or winter. It’s a soft, rich scent that no one would dislike; maybe it lacks a bit of character and doesn’t make me fall head over heels, but it’s ideal for daily use. I also think it makes a great gift. I smell 100% freesia on it, with no vanilla or fruity notes, perhaps just a woody touch. It lasts about 3-4 hours on my skin and much longer on clothes. If you’re struggling to find daily scents with good longevity, give this a try.
