  For sweet lovers seeking a gourmand you can practically eat. The moment you apply it, a fun, warm, and more natural-than-real caramel hits you—enveloping but not heavy. You could douse yourself in a whole bottle without it being intrusive; that’s the best part, so overapply and enjoy. Aomassai’s signature returns: sweet vanilla notes against toasted and resinous accords. As it dries, you get toasted woods, resins, licorice, and a creamy hazelnut base that steals the show. It’s a fantastic comfort gourmand for chilly days. What’s more appetizing than stepping out into the cold smelling of milk sweets and toasted sugar? It’s not for everyone, but it’s mandatory for sweet lovers. Long-lasting, with a perfect trail, and a reinvention of a classic (an improved A*Mén) that deserves a 10.

  If you smell this and feel hungry, your mouth will water. Burnt caramel and sticky hazelnuts come out first, then incense and resins give it an oriental twist. The longevity is top-notch, with a good trail for the first four hours. As the previous reviewer said, don’t be afraid to apply it generously; it’s not overwhelming. I see it as unisex, leaning more masculine, perfect for autumn and winter.

  Aomassai is an absolute beast. If you’re looking for hazelnut and vanilla, By the Fireplace is the king, but this takes a different path: nutty notes with clean, dry woods and hay. Imagine candied nuts aged in a wooden barrel, with a touch of aged liquor and a hint of orange. I love it; it’s a gourmand that doesn’t look like one. Unisex, perfect for cold weather, semi-formal events, and dates. The performance is brutal, original, and delicious. I own it, and nothing compares. Rating: 9/10
