  They sold it to me at a great price, and the seller was right: eBay prices are insane. At first, it smells of lavender, bergamot, lemon, and rosewood. The trail is moderate, though if you over-spray, it becomes weak. After four hours, it’s floral with lavender, jasmine, and maybe cyclamen. By nine hours, it’s skin, musk, and cedar; I don’t detect much tonka bean or amber. Why is it ridiculous to pay over $100? Because at the start, it smells like those fresh shower gels everywhere these days. It’s from 1994, the era of aquatic fragrances, and it fits that role perfectly. In the dry-down, it doesn’t stand out; it seems fougère but is soft, oriental, and perfect for summer. The trail is moderate to soft and lasts about eight hours, ideal for daytime wear. I insist: except for nostalgia, I won’t pay the $250 asked on some sites, as it lacks aromatic notes to justify that price.
