  On ‘Low’, Bowie’s 70s album, the song ‘Sound and Vision’ captivates and enchants you. Guerlain Homme L’Eau awakens identical sensations in me: a naturally icy texture, like an almost frozen drink of lime, lemon, and mint. You can detect the grapefruit, geranium, and vetiver in smooth transitions. It’s perfect for humid, hot summer days; not only do you smell good, but you’re wrapped in a shield of imaginary ice cubes. It’s pleasant and proves that for the perfect coolness, you don’t need an excess of fruits or ozone. The longevity is good, about six hours with some extra bursts, and the projection is moderate but noticeable. It’s discontinued, but L’Homme L’Eau Boisée is a worthy heir. Bravo.

It’s not heavy or ‘attention-seeking’; it clings to the skin without being invisible. The dry-down is very natural, with no synthetic or plastic notes, featuring green accords, geranium, woods, and vetiver that create a mojito atmosphere with a lemonade vibe. The only downside is that it’s hard to find. Excellent, a well-made fresh citrus scent.

  A very fresh fragrance of high quality, nothing typical among citrus colognes. The ingredients are top-notch and provide a lot of freshness in the middle of summer or spring. I found it again for $29 after a year and didn’t hesitate to buy it. The trail is moderate; in the office, it’s noticeable from a distance. It lasts about four hours projecting, then fades a bit to become a skin scent for another two hours. For me, it’s much better than Guerlain’s Ideal Cool or Sport. Purchased in November 2020 in Chile.

  Guerlain Homme L’Eau is the freshest flanker in the entire line, perfect for those summer days that make you want to stay inside. It’s like a refreshing drink that restores the vital energy the heat steals from you. It smells super natural and fresh; you can almost feel the lime in your hand, along with mint, grapefruit, bergamot, geranium, and rum, with zero artificial sensation. Discontinued? Yes, but it’s absolutely worth it.
